Upcoming Collabs for Fortnite’s New Season – Jujutsu Kaisen Again?

Chapter 5, Season 2 is approaching, and as always, quite a few collabs have been leaked. Collaborations in Fortnite aren’t something new. In fact, Disney has bought a stake in Epic because of its success in Fortnite. The company urged Epic to continue its work by integrating multiple collaborations into its game. The more characters Fortnite adds to their character base, the stronger their own multiverse becomes. Let’s dive into what seems to be another season of collabs for Fortnite.

Is the Jujutsu Kaisen x Fortnite Round 2 collab incoming?

Not long ago, Jujutsu Kaisen already had one round of promos in Fortnite. Leaks suggest that another set of skins is set to show up in the item shop soon. This is not the first time Fortnite has featured multiple skins of the same character. Dragon Ball Z had various versions of their characters in Fortnite. Clearly, anime lovers did not mind the extra skins for their favourite heroes.

There will be Lego editions of the same skin once it enters the item shop. Chapter 5 is themed around ancient Greek mythology, and the new season hype has reached its peak. Whether or not we see Jujutsu Kaisen weapons in the game is still unclear. The leaks do suggest a custom tournament related to this collab. Whether it’ll be a completely new mode, we’ll have to find out later in Season 2.

One Piece x Fortnite Collab might be incoming as well.

Fortnite has been flirting with the One Piece collab for months now. There is still no timeframe as to when we can expect the One Piece campaign to enter the game. The only real confirmation was when an Xbox-related podcast channel, Xboxera, confirmed that One Piece is set to arrive in Fortnite sometime soon. Already, Epic has featured multiple anime projects in their game, and One Piece was always linked for a future date.

The previous leaks and rumors hint towards the collab taking place this season. In Chapter 5, Season 1, we saw the likes of Family Guy and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles taking over the island. The TMNT collab only featured towards the end of the season and lasted for roughly around two weeks. The game featured mythic weapons related to these crossovers. It’ll be interesting, to say the least, about how they plan to implement mythic weapons from the One Piece universe.

Other leaks and rumors about possible Fortnite collaborations.

Data miners have suggested multiple collabs for Fortnite this season. While it is possible that only one or two of these projects may go live, the leaks are still coming in strong. Most of such news comes from playtesters of the game, with many having playtested most of Season 2.

Among the list of possible collabs, God of War looks like it would fit well into the Greek mythology-themed season. Kratos has already been featured in the in-game store, and the skin was well-received by the community. Will the new collab feature more versions of the Kratos skin? Or will they bring in more characters from the game? We’ll have to keep an eye on the upcoming season of Fortnite for more information.
