BetBoom Dacha Dubai – Bloodbath in the Main Event

Betboom dacha dubai tour

After a completed group stage and tiebreakers round in 1v1 format, the BetBoom Dacha tournament got really exciting for Dota 2 fans. Namely, 4 teams advanced from each group, so we had the final grid with all the teams seeded at the end of tiebreakers.

The upper bracket is definitely a place to keep an eye out for, while the lower bracket is definitely a bloodbath. So, what’s actually happening in this tournament? Any surprise? Any ”out of this world” plays? You bet!

The Upper Bracket – Nothing is Certain

Starting with the LDG Gaming vs BetBoom Team in the upper bracket, the action was through the roof. This is mainly because the BetBoom Team managed to win 2-0; they stomped LGD like they were some Tier 2 Dota team. To be honest, LGD didn’t stand a chance against GPK’s Invoker in the first game and Nightfall’s Sven in the second.

Next, Team Spirit vs Gaming Gladiators, now that’s where the fun begins. Back in the 1v1 tiebreaker, Quin decided not to play because they didn’t want to match against Team Spirit. But, after the judges decided, they had to play against them. And boy was that a match to watch. GG managed to win 2-0 over Team Spirit, a team with a 33-win streak, a record in Dota.

Team liquid vs Azure Ray

Following that, Xtreme Gaming lost 2-0 against Falcon Gaming, a team full of new hopes for Dota 2. This match was quite fun to watch, as the Falcons are always playing something innovative and out of the meta. Both games went over the 50-minute mark, making them quite a spectacle to watch. Most importantly, those who wanted to bet on this match had the opportunity to score some money on the Falcons.

The last match in the upper bracket was between Team Liquid and Azure Ray. Well-versed EU team versus Chinese masters, who would’ve thought that Nisha from Team Liquid would fail on mid? Well, exactly that happened. In both games 1 and 3, Nisha didn’t have the impact he usually has. Therefore, Azure Ray managed to secure a victory over Team Liquid.

The Lower Bracket – Survival Mode ON

In the lower bracket, the situation is quite straightforward. Since the format commands that way, LGD had to face Team Spirit, and they lost 0-2. This shows that Team Spirit is quite strong and that LGD needs to work on their mid to late-game transition.

Next, we have Xtreme Gaming vs. Team Liquid; they managed to create such a show that people enjoyed worldwide. Namely, Nisha now stepped his game up and secured a 2-0 win against the Chinese team. This is quite a thrilling tournament to watch as teams are getting blasted left, right, and center.

What’s To Happen?

With everything happening on the scene right now, the BetBoom Team looks quite strong. On the other hand, Team Falcons are following up with some really strong tactics. Who will win? We don’t know. But we know one thing – Dota 2 action is guaranteed as these teams are chasing to get the most out of the $1M prize pool.
