Fortnite has become known for collaborating with some of the biggest names in music. In past seasons, Lady Gaga and The Weeknd have taken the virtual stage in the game’s popular Festival mode.
Now, Epic Games has revealed that seven-time Grammy winner Billie Eilish joined Fortnite in Season 3.
Starting from yesterday, players can experience new Billie Eilish-themed items, challenges, and an interactive performance by the popular singer.

Epic Games announced that Billie Eilish will become the next pop star to be featured in Fortnite on April 23rd. A spooky trailer was released showing Billie Eilish arriving through a portal in the sky.
Her avatar is shown dressed similarly to her iconic music videos, with green hair and styled clothes.
The trailer teases elements from Billie Eilish’s songs like “Bury a Friend” as her character jumps and dances around on the virtual stage.
What Is the Fortnite Festival?
Fortnite Festival is a series of virtual concerts held within Fortnite. Different artists partner with Fortnite to bring virtual performances to players.
Players can watch live shows and interact with the artists’ digital stages and environments. Past seasons have featured Lady Gaga and The Weeknd. Now fans will get to enjoy Billie Eilish in Season 3.

Let’s see what players can expect with this collaboration:
1. New Outfits and Items
Billie Eilish will have two outfit styles available – one exclusive to those who purchase the seasonal Battle Pass upgrade and another available for individual purchase in the Item Shop.
Players can unlock these customizable avatar looks through normal gameplay and challenges. Other Billie Eilish-themed instruments, emotes, and more will also be unlockable during the season.
2. Jam To Hit Songs
Fortnite Festival wouldn’t be complete without adding some of Eilish’s biggest hits for players to rock out to.
Season 3 will feature tracks such as “Bad Guy,” “You Should See Me in a Crown,” “Bury a Friend,” and “Happier Than Ever” playable as “Jam Tracks” that can be performed using instruments found around this new Season 3 island.
Getting better scores and combos on these songs will unlock additional rewards, such as spray tags and loading screens.
Season 3 Gameplay
As with past Festival seasons, players can hop into the game mode to explore the new seasonally-updated island, complete quests together, and jam out on Eillish’s songs.
Leaderboards will track the top scorers to see who has truly mastered the tracks. With around two months to play through Season 3’s content before it ends on June 13th, fans of both Eilish and Fortnite have plenty of time to gear up and get their game on.
How to Unlock the Billie Eilish Skin in Fortnite
To get the Billie Eilish skin in Fortnite, you need to buy the Festival Pass for Season 3. You’ll instantly unlock the Green Roots Billie Outfit when you purchase this pass. This cool outfit is part of the premium rewards you get right away.
The Festival Pass costs 1,800 V-Bucks, which is the usual price for a Fortnite skin. If you keep playing and reach the end of the Festival Pass, you’ll also get another style of the Billie Eilish skin called ‘Ultraviolet.’ This version changes Billie’s T-shirt to black.
Remember, the Ultraviolet style is only available through this Season 3 Festival Pass. Other items from the pass might show up in the shop later, but this special style is exclusive to the pass.
