Valve, the developer of Dota 2, has renamed one of the game’s heroes to celebrate Team Spirit’s second TI victory. Spirit Breaker, a popular hero in the TI12 meta, has been renamed to Team Spirit Breaker in the game client.
Team Spirit won their second TI title after a dominant 3-0 Finals against Gaimin Gladiators. To commemorate this achievement, Valve released Champion Stickers for fans to purchase. The team’s offlaner, Collapse, played Spirit Breaker six times during the tournament, with an impressive 83% win rate, making it a fitting choice for the hero’s new name.
Team Spirit Champion Stickers available for purchase
To celebrate Team Spirit’s victory in TI12, Valve added Team Spirit Champion Stickers in the Dota 2 game. These stickers are available for purchase at $1 per sticker capsule. Players can get one random player or the team’s logo. There are four styles of stickers available: Base, Glitter, Holo, and Gold. These stickers can be used to decorate your Dota 2 profile.
The Team Spirit Champion Stickers in Gold style are particularly popular among players. Dota 2 home page congratulated Team Spirit’s TI12 victory and added these stickers to the game.
With the 2023 season over, fans are eagerly anticipating the roster shuffle phase and the upcoming ESL One Kuala Lumpur tournament in December 2023.
