Twitch Streamer Kai Cenat Rants About Lil Nas X and His Latest Music

Popular Twitch Streamer, Kai Cenat, puts Lil Nas X on full blast after recently releasing his new song titled “J CHRIST”. The song quickly rose up the charts and gaining not only popularity, but also notoriety. Devout Christians have expressed their distaste for the “Panini” and “Old Town Road” rapper’s newest song, but none more than Kai Cenat.

Kai Cenat’s Reaction

The popular Twitch Streamer rants on a stream on Thursday, January 11, 2024. In the stream, Kai Cenat actively airs out his grievances towards the rapper for his newest song, repeatedly stating that “God is going to handle you, bro” while referring to Lil Nas X, along with other words that represents his anger towards the situation.

When a friend asked Kai Cenat what got him so upset, the streamer refused to speak more on the topic as he tries to regain his composure, only telling his friend to check his (Lil Nas X) page, because “he disrespected God himself. He disrespected the whole culture, mocking it, making fun” as stated by Kai Cenat.

Kai Cenat’s reaction comes from how he was raised. He comes from a Christian household that teaches him everything about the Bible and Christ. He even uses his platform to spread Christianity to his followers, often talking about his faith in Jesus, even praying during his “10 Things Kai Cenat Can’t Live Without” interview with GQ.

Lil Nas X’s Infamous Reputation Among Christians

However, this is not the first time Lil Nas X has done something that upset the Christian community. Back in 2021, Lil Nas X released a controversial song titled “Montero (Call Me By Your Name)”, which also garnered a lot of heat from Christians as they believe that the song is “immoral and harmful to children”.

However, Lil Nas X himself has stated before that he is not mocking anyone. In a Twitter post, Lil Nas X says “the crazy thing is nowhere in the picture is a mockery of jesus,” he states. “Jesus’s image is used throughout history in people’s art all over the world. I’m not making fun of s–t. yall just gotta stop trying to gatekeep a religion that was here before any of us were even born. stfu.”

So, while it may not seem that Lil Nas X is not actively mocking Christianity, it is understandable why some people might take it that way.
