Watch out, Valorant players, there are some big changes coming! Valorant Patch Notes 8.07 has arrived, and it has bug fixes, quality-of-life updates, and a huge buff for one of our favorite Controllers. Dive in!
Omen’s Ultimate Gets a Buff
An important feature of this patch is the enhancement to Omen’s ultimate skill, From the Shadows. Omen no longer need to cancel the ability in order to take up the spike, open and lock doors, or interact with other items while in their Shade form. This creates a whole new world of possibilities for imaginative plays and strategies!
Imagine this scenario: You’re on Ascent, and your team is attacking. Your team may force through the boathouse doors without damaging them since Omen is able to travel beyond them and open them from the inside. Alternatively, if you’re on the defensive, you can gain a tactical edge by having Omen teleport and shut the doors once your team sets the spike. It’s really neat, huh?
Clove Bug Fixes
Not only that, but Patch 8.07 also fixes a number of issues with Clove, the newest agent in the game. The annoying bug that caused Clove’s body to remain standing after dying has been resolved, as has the issue that caused them to resurrect after utilizing their ultimate ability, Not Dead Yet, without their main weapon.
In relation to Clove, various bug fixes have also been made to their Ruse ability. A smoother gameplay experience is guaranteed since the head and arms hitbox problems that happen when shooting quickly upward or downward or crouching when Ruse is equipped have been fixed.
Experience Improvements
Alongside these agent-specific enhancements, the patch also includes some QoL improvements. With improved contrast, the interaction instructions are now easier to read in-game. Additionally, weapon prompts no longer display skin line names and the prompt text has been simplified, which should make things a little clearer and easier to understand.
Weapon Skin Audio Fixes
But wait, there’s more! Valorant Patch 8.07 also addresses some pesky audio bugs associated with various weapon skins, including the Glitchpop Classic, Prime Classic, Cryostasis Classic, Gravitational Uranium Neuroblaster (G.U.N) Classic, Spectrum Classic, Elderflame Operator, and Ion Sheriff. Say goodbye to those annoying audio glitches!
Additional Bug Fixes
Of course, no patch would be complete without bug fixes, and this one is no exception. From fixing an exploit that allowed Chamber to place his Trademark trap in unintended locations. Resolved issues with Clove’s abilities not being reported correctly in the Match Details. They have been squashing those pesky bugs that players have encountered.
Whether you’re an old Valorant or a relative newcomer to the series, Valorant Patch Notes 8.07 will help you improve your gameplay. And so, what are you waiting for? Start your game, download the new patch, and unleash your madness!
