January 2024 PlayStation Plus Games Announced

2023 is in the past and we are now in the new year of 2024. With that said, PlayStation Plus users are going to be looking forward to the games that will be coming this month. But no one expected such heavy hitting titles to come into this months PlayStation Plus game catalog.

Out of the 14 titles that are coming to PlayStation Plus, we have 3 noteworthy entries that will give you a fun gaming experience: Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, Just Cause 3, and Resident Evil 2 Remake.

Just Cause 3

Just Cause 3 is a fun and fantastic open world action game that lets you live out your wildest stuntmen dreams. It is the 3rd entry in the Just Cause 3 franchise and many say it is the second best entry in the series, some might even argue that it is the best entry in the entire franchise, even better than the classic Just Cause 2.

If you are looking for mindless explosions while walking away and not looking at it like a cool guy, then this game is definitely something you should try.

The game is available for PlayStation 4 but backwards compatible with PlayStation 5 in the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium tiers.

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands

Ever wondered what it would be like if Borderlands and Dungeons and Dragons had a baby together? Well we got an answer. Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is a spin off game from the Borderland’s franchise. This game doesn’t have any significance to the overall story of the game, but serves as a fun side story with fun gameplay elements.

Instead of using technologically advanced weaponry to blow your enemies away, Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands uses magic to fight against enemies. Of course, guns are still in the game, but you won’t find the same guns from Borderlands 3 here. Just new and unique guns.

The game is available for both PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 in the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium tiers.

Resident Evil 2 Remake

Horror games fans rejoice, because the critically acclaimed Resident Evil 2 Remake will be available to those who have PlayStation Plus. In this game, you will be playing as the younger versions of Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield as they maneuver through the treacherous halls of the Raccoon City Police Department and the infected streets of Raccoon City itself.

In this reimagined version of Resident Evil 2, you will be able to enjoy a much more modernized version of the third person shooter gameplay, as well as a story that retells the original story in a new way so new and old fans of the game can enjoy it.

The game is available for both PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 in the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium tiers.
