100T Boostio played a round without a mouse? FNS to G2? – Valorant Weekly Roundup

For those who haven’t been keeping up with Valorant’s eSports news lately, you’ve come to the right place. Valorant Franchise League is going on right now and a ton of upsets have already occurred. First and foremost, the reigning Valorant champion, Sentinels, lost a match. After a solid run, Sentinels had to bow down to the Leviathan in a 2-0 loss. Leviathan’s Aspas went 47/19 in kills/deaths, which is the most kills by any player in VCT. Apart from this, there was a ton of other drama. Keep reading to learn more about 100T (100 Thieves) and FNS-related news.

100T Boostio plays a round of Valorant without a mouse!

Yes, you read that right! 100T Boostio was forced to complete a round without his mouse. Unfortunately, the round started with Boostio’s mouse no working, and he had to complete the round with just his keyboard. On the bright side of this news, the opponents weren’t aware of Boostio’s mouse situation, which allowed Boostio to engage in some improvised trolling. Boostio baited for his team and managed to close the round with a win. This was one of those very rare moments which will be remembered forever in Valorant.

100T has come out of the dry run of games and managed back-to-back victories this past week. They have defeated Cloud9 and G2, cementing themselves as one of the best in North America. Though 100 Thieves have been struggling over the past years, the only two teams that look better than them are Sentinels and NRG. While many may say that both 100 Thieves and NRG are miles ahead, the results for 100T have been favoring them. Getting back-to-back victories does result in a momentum boost, which might take them a long way this season.

FNS joins G2 as an official match broadcaster

Surprisingly, FNS, the god “IGL” in Valorant, has officially joined G2 in what looks like a short-term contract. FNS last played with NRG last season and announced his retirement from Valorant once the season finished. He then joined NRG as a content creator and focused on his streaming career ever since. Now, FNS has been called up by G2 Esports just for his “aura”. Yes, you read that right! G2 apparently just wants him to support the team and watch their games. This is a very unique contract he’s entered into. As per Pujan’s (FNS) terms, he still gets to be himself and critique even G2 like he always does in his streams.

G2 has allowed him to be himself and not change any of his criticisms against teams. Rather, they’ve informed him that just his presence in the team would hype up the org. Apart from that, G2 obviously gets a major winner and a celebrity streamer to join the team. Pujan has confirmed that he won’t be a part of the team in any way, including being a coach. Rather, streaming G2 matches and engaging with his chat is what FNS will focus on the most.

Have your say!
