Palworld is a global smash hit success that no one expected. Since the game released just 5 days ago, Palworld was able to sell 7 million copies while still being in Early Access. This is a feat that has not been seen in Early Access games since Minecraft. Now that there are 7 million players playing the game, what is Palworld going to be doing with that money?
Well, they have decided to use the influx of money to start working on content to further improve the game. Just recently, the developers of Palworld released a roadmap that shows all of the changes and additions they want to add to the game.
- Addressing Critical Issues
- Currently, numerous bugs have been identified, and we are prioritizing fixing those.
- Sometimes, the world date may experience rollbacks.
- The loading screen may persist when trying to load into world.
- …and so on.
- Improvements to Implement ASAP
- Key configuration improvements.
- Improvements to base Pal AI and pathing.
- Planned Future Updates
- PvP
- Raid Bosses (End-game content)
- Pal Arena (PvP for Pals)
- Steam to Xbox Crossplay
- Various Xbox Feature Improvements
- Server Transfers and Migrations
- Improvements to the Building Systems
- New Islands, Pals, Bosses, and Technologies
- Currently, numerous bugs have been identified, and we are prioritizing fixing those.
As we can see from the roadmap, the immediate first changes will be the key configuration improvements and the improvements to the base Pal AI for pathing. This is a great start in fixing the game, as there are numerous clips all over the internet that shows the Pals not being good with their AI and their pathing.
But what really catches our attention are the planned future updates. PvP, Raid Bosses, and Pal Arena. When the game started, it was a shock that there was no PvP from the get go. Players playing on the same server cannot engage in PvP combat, even if they had their Pals do the attacking. It’s unknown why this wasn’t in the game already, but it definitely should have been there to begin with, even if it is an Early Access game.
The Raid Bosses is actually fine that it wasn’t in the game to begin with. This is an Early Access game after all. The bare minimum for an Early Access game is to have PvP and multiplayer, and while Palworld did have multiplayer, having no PvP was a weird choice. But having no Raid Bosses at the start is fine, as endgame content usually aren’t there in most Early Access games.
Of course, the future new islands, Pals, bosses, and Technologies are something to look forward to. The game already started with a vast world filled with different Pals, bosses, and different types of Technologies you can craft. But it would be interesting to see what kind of things they will add in future updates to this game.
#Palworld has sold over 7 million copies in only 5 days!
Thank you very much!!
We continue to be hard at work addressing the issues and bugs some users are experiencing.

While Pal may be dealing with controversy regarding AI, at least they won’t have to deal with any kind of money issues, as they are pretty much set to further develop their game.
