With already two major and one minor Spider-Man game invariably well-received, the franchise’s stretch is far from over. Although Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 has only been available for a few days, one can’t help but look ahead a bit.
So did the Friends Per Second podcast that had game director Bryan Intihar as a guest. A potential third game also came up during the conversation, and Intihar makes no bones about the fact that it is a possibility. In his words:
“If Spider-Man 1 and Miles Morales were like our Iron Man, and Spider-Man 2 was like a Civil War, where logically do we go from there? I think it would be pretty epic. But, you know, we’ll see,”
At the same time, Insomniac Games is also working on a Wolverine game and there is a possibility that a Venom spin-off will appear sooner or later. In short, it could go either way, but that Insomniac Games will stay engaged with Marvel is a certainty.
