Xbox Game Pass Adds This Highly Rated JRPG

JRPG games have always been the best when it comes to bringing out of this world action, paired with character designs that defies the laws of physics (because most JRPG protagonists needs an incredible amount of hair gel to keep their hair up). For decades, JRPG’s provide amazing storytelling, coupled with gameplay that just blows your socks off. And that was back when characters were just polygon.

In this age of gaming, we have reached the quality of JRPG games that are very similar to what we used to watch on TV. Remember those Naruto fights you used to watch? Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 shows what being in control of a ninja fight looks like. Or how about when Goku transforms into a Super Saiyan? Dragon Ball FighterZ, Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, and the upcoming Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO will make you feel like the powerful Z Warrior.

But it’s not just popular anime’s that are getting the gaming treatment. For the past 2 decades, we have been getting amazing JRPG games that continuously get better in terms of graphics and combat. God Eater 3, Code Vein, Honkai: Star Rail, Genshin Impact, Persona 5 Royal, Persona 3 Reload, Yakuza: Like A Dragon, Final Fantasy VII Remake, Scarlet Nexus and more.

But now, Xbox players are graced with the opportunity to play a fantastic JRPG game that is absolutely fantastic on every level: Tales of Arise.

Tales of Arise, Now Available On Xbox Game Pass

If you have a couple of days to spare and you have nothing better to do, why not jump on your Xbox or PC and boot up Tales of Arise? That’s right, this epic JRPG is now available for those who are subscribed to Xbox Game Pass. You will be able to start playing now once you download the game.

The game features an amazing storyline that has you take control of the main character, Alphen. As Alphen, you witness the people of Dahna enslaved by the people of Rena. As for 300 years, the people of Dahna have been used as servants for the people of Rena, which is essentially just a nice way to say “free labor”.

While working, Alphen comes across a Renan named Shionne, who posses the Fire Master Core that many want to get their hands on. Problem there is that whoever touches Shionne is immediately shocked, almost to death even. But Alphen has a nice little trick up his sleeve: he doesn’t feel pain. With Alphen by Shionne’s side, he can summon the Blazing Sword, a powerful manifestation of the Fire Master Core to slay their enemies.

If you want to learn more, then do yourself a favor and start playing the game now!

And if you want to play more of Tales of Arise, then you can also get Beyond the Dawn expansion, which is a continuation of the main story that takes place a year after. However, we won’t spoil you on what happens during the expansion. Instead, find out for yourself.
