This weekend (September 1 to 4), different video games will be free on platforms such as PC, PlayStation, and Xbox.
Free video games
Every weekend, from September 1 to 4, a series of promotions are available on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC, allowing you to play for free. These promotions include free trials for a limited time and the possibility to access full versions of some games without paying. But that’s not all. Also, we can add real gifts of computer games to our libraries and keep them forever. Below, we tell you about each of the free game offers for this weekend:
Dead by Daylight
To start this weekend’s list of offers, we have Dead by Daylight. You can play this game for free on PC, Xbox and PlayStation. This weekend, the well-known asymmetric multiplayer shooter Dead by Daylight offers a free trial to all those who don’t own it yet. The campaign also includes a 50% discount on both the original game and some DLC. Except for Switch, virtually all of the game’s platforms, including PlayStation, Xbox, and PC, will offer a free trial that will last until September 4.
🏷️ Get up to 50% off the Base Game and select DLCs on Steam, Windows, Xbox, PlayStation and Switch. See platform stores for dates and details.

Rainbow Six Siege
Another video game included in this list is Rainbow Six Siege, free to play on all platforms. Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege is another game offering a free weekend these days. It is free on all platforms (PlayStation, Xbox, and PC) until September 4 at 14:00 (local time). The progress will be preserved if we buy the full edition, discounted during the trial weekend.
Xbox Live Gold free trials
On the other hand, Xbox Live Gold users will have limited-time free access to full versions of some specific Xbox X/S or Xbox One series games. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate users are also eligible for this promotion, known as Free Play Days, as their subscription also includes access to the Live Gold service. You can play these three games for free this weekend through Monday, September 4.
- Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege
- LEGO 2K Drive
- Dead by Daylight
New free game on Epic Games Store
As part of its recurring promotion that delivers one or more weekly freebies every Thursday, the Epic Games Store has updated to offer a new free PC game. On this occasion, it offers a single video game at no cost that will be accessible until September 7.
- Cave Story (Original retail price €11.9)
Undoubtedly, this weekend you have many options not to stop playing for a minute. Happy gaming!
