Few things are as ephemeral as Internet fads. Yet even more than a decade after being brought to life as an entry in a photoshop contest, Slenderman continues to capture the imagination.
Slender: The Eight Pages then managed to scare the hell out of many gamers with minuscule resources. The same was true in 2013 for its more polished successor Slender: The Arrival, which will soon feature a genuine current-gen update.
On Oct. 18 – and thus well in time for Halloween – we can expect the 10th Anniversary Update, which will bring the game to the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, among others. In addition to the expected technical improvements, the update also includes a brand new level, which promises to push the title’s nightmare content to unseen heights. Those who pre-order the updated version of the game will get Valley for free, by the way.
