A week after its release, Sega’s Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth has sold a total of one million units across all formats and platforms combined.

The figures are from Sega’s internal calculations, and they take into account the number of physical units sent to retailers globally and the number of downloads across various online storefronts. This feat now makes Infinite Wealth the fastest-selling title in the Yakuza series.

To celebrate the milestone, Infinite Wealth players will receive a Celebratory T-Shirt Set to use in-game. The free item will be released at a later date, and there are currently no details yet on what the set will include, what the design will be, and who is eligible.

As a recap, Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth is the ninth mainline entry in the Yakuza / Like a Dragon series, and it was released globally for PlayStation 4 / 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S / X, and Steam on January 26. The game’s standard edition was sold physically and digitally for $69.99 / £59.99, while the Deluxe and Ultimate Editions are only available digitally for $84.99 / £74.99 and $109.99 / £94.99, respectively.

Player reception for the game also seems to match the number of units sold, scoring generally favorable reviews across the board on Metacritic. On Steam, Infinite Wealth currently has a “Very Positive” rating, with 90 percent of user reviews rating the game positively. It seems players didn’t mind the fact that New Game+ is not a standard feature in the base game, and is instead included in the Deluxe and Ultimate Editions.
