Frontier Developments has announced that the next iteration in their Formula 1 management simulator series, F1 Manager 2024, is set to launch digitally this summer on PC via Steam or Epic Games, PlayStation 4 / 5, Xbox Series X / S, and Xbox One.
The most thrilling addition to F1 Manager 2024 is the “Create A Team” mode. No longer confined to managing existing teams, you’re now the architect of your own F1 squad. Design your team livery, paint the cars, slap on some sponsor logos – let your creativity run wild! Building a winning team is up to you: will you focus on developing promising young drivers, or will you go all-in, splurging on the sport’s established stars?
Meanwhile, at HQ, your job is to keep things running smoothly. You’ll have to design crucial car upgrades, invest in state-of-the-art facilities to attract the best talent, and manage your team’s morale. F1 Manager 2024 also introduces a new “mentality system” – your drivers and staff aren’t robots, they have personalities and demands, and keeping everyone happy is a challenge in itself. And remember, Formula 1 is a cutthroat sport; watch your back, because rival teams will try to lure away your best people if you’re not careful.
As for on-the-track changes, new camera angles put you in the thick of the action, whether you’re watching from the driver’s seat or assessing the track from above. Your race engineer will keep you updated as you make real-time strategy calls and try to outsmart the competition. Just remember, anything can happen, and a mechanical failure could turn a perfect race into a struggle for points.
Although there’s no specific launch date yet, F1 Manager 2024 will cost $34.99 / £29.99 / / €34.99 upon release.
