Rivals rewards have been disappointing since the start of the year. So what do we do now? Surprisingly, the menu grind rewards are at an all-time high. Not many players are aware of the Player SBCs and the upgrade SBCs that are up for grabs this week. Let’s take a look at the best SBCs you should be doing right now.
83 * 10 Player SBC
Currently, this is the hottest SBC in the game. In exchange for an 83 average rating team and a Team of the Week player, you get 10 players that are guaranteed 83 rated or above. Straight-up, players might think that exchanging an 83 team for what could be an 83 team in return is a bad decision. The truth is that the pack in return is always an upgrade for the majority of the players you’ve submitted.
Most Team of the Week players have a higher rating than 83. Hence, players can feature 2-3 players that are 82 ratings or less. Complete the rest of the team with the excess 83-rated players in the club, and the SBC is complete. The reward, an 83 * 10 pack, contains many upgraded versions of existing cards as well as players from the current promo. Players who are considering saving these packs to open up later might miss out on good packs.
For sure, there will be at least 5-6 players from each pack that are above 83 and are of no use to your club. Such players, along with the duplicates from the club, can be rinsed into the same SBC again. The 83 * 10 SBC can be done 3 times every 24 hours. This SBC is rumored to be active for the whole of this week. Players who plan to complete this SBC actively over the week literally have 3 chances every day to pack really good players.
EA FC Fantasy Crafting Upgrade
This is an SBC that a ton of players are missing out on. The requirement for this SBC is one rare gold player and 10 common gold players. If you’ve been playing Ultimate Team for over a month now, it’s most likely you’ll have a ton of gold players in your club. Exchange these players for three * 77+ rated players. Again, this deal looks like a bad one, but there’s more to it than meets the eye.
EA wants players to complete this SBC 150 times in the coming 11 days. In return, after every 5-10 completions, a pack is rewarded, and the pack keeps improving upon more completions. A total of 20 packs are given if you complete this SBC 150 times. The final reward is an 85-rated * 3 player pack, which, in my opinion, is worth the grind. In case players start running out of gold cards, completing the gold crafting upgrade would give more gold-rated players. Hopefully, in the coming weeks, we’ll have more gameplay-oriented rewards, but for now, make sure to collect all rewards from the menu grind.
