Dota 2 players who will not be present at TI12

The International 12 will undoubtedly be an amazing competition as it will bring together the best teams in the world. Dota 2’s biggest stars will gather from October 12 in Seattle to fight for the first place at TI12. Today, we will talk about some very important in the Dota 2 competitive scene who will not be present at this important tournament.

Dota 2 players that will not be present at TI12

Clement “Puppey” Ivanov

To start this list, we must mention Clement “Puppey” Ivanov, one of the Dota 2 legends we will not see in action in Seattle. For the first time in the history of IT, Puppey will not be present. Recall that Puppey and NaVi won the inaugural edition of the TI in 2011. Since then, he has participated in all subsequent editions. However, this time, his team, Secret, could not get a place to compete in this important tournament.

Kuro “KuroKy” Takhasomi Salehi

Another player we should mention in this list is Kuro “KuroKy” Takhasomi Salehi, another Dota legend. He is an excellent veteran player who has always been among the players who can win the tournament. However, KuroKy and Puppey will miss this 2023 TI12, so they will have to wait for the next edition to try to win it.

For his part, KuroKy reached the highest point of his career in 2017 when he won the TI together with Team Liquid. After that important victory, KuroKy decided to found his own organization, Nigma Galaxy. Although they had initial success, this team has not been able to replicate KuroKy’s success with Team Liquid.

Amir “Miracle” Al-Barkawi

On the other hand, we have Amir “Miracle” Al-Barkawi, another excellent player that we will not see in action this TI12. Throughout Miracle’s career, this player has won important tournaments, becoming one of the best in the competitive scene.

Unlike Puppey, who did his best to qualify for TI12, Miracle stopped playing last year. So, he is currently on Nigma Galaxy’s inactive players list.

Bogdanov “bzm” Bozhidar

Another name on this list is Bogdanov “bzm” Bozhidar, who has been left out of the TI12. The performance of OG, the team to which bzm belongs, was not the best, and as a consequence, this young player is left out of this important event. However, it is important to note that bzm is only 18 years old, so it is expected that we will see him in very important tournaments in the future.

Du “Monet” Peng

It’s safe to say that the China region has some very talented Dota 2 players. However, we won’t be able to see all of these players in action at TI12. For example, Du “Monet” Peng cannot attend this important event. He and his team could not do well in the qualification rounds in China. As a result, they will not be able to compete in the TI12.

Overall, the TI12 will be amazing, even though some of the game’s biggest stars will not be present.

Have your say!
