Best Valorant Agents to Play on Map Lotus

Based out of India, Lotus is a 3-bombsite map and has been in the competitive map pool ever since launch. Similar to the map Haven, attackers have three bomb sites to choose from when playing on Lotus. The map is huge, but the three sites are connected quite well to allow for late-round rotations if needed. The key to dominating Lotus is to show presence in either A or C site and make plays based on that. Both sentinels and initiators are crucial for this map. With all this in mind, let’s take a look at the best agents to be played on the map Lotus.

Duelists

Unsurprisingly, Raze is considered the most dominant duelist from this list. Both during defense and attack, Raze can use grenades to scale up. During defense, Raze can quickly use her nade on A-site to seize control of key areas, including A-link. Getting early control of such crucial places on the map denies attackers from rushing onto the site. Jett too is a staple pick on Lotus, given the fact that she can updraft onto various boxes, making her the off-angle queen of the map. Save up for an AWP and if played right, Jett can single-handedly hold B and A sites from multiple positions.

Initiator

Big Boy Breach is an S-tier pick for Lotus and probably the best agent to play on Lotus from the whole agent roster. His long stuns, along with Raze grenades or other explosives in Valorant, result in free kills almost every round. The information gathered by the stun alone sets the tone for the whole match. Fade and Gekko are good picks too. Fade’s recon can be thrown up in high places all over the map, making it tough to break. Gekko’s wingman, combined with his own flash, can get the plant down in B-site with ease. Just make sure Lil bro is given enough and more cover while he’s planting the bomb.

Controller

This Valorant map specifically feels like it was designed exclusively for Harbor. His High Tide ability helps with blocking almost every chokepoint from wherever he is on the map. His presence throughout the round allows for scaling up in multiple ways. Since he’s the newest controller, his pick rate isn’t as high as Omen, but his impact on Lotus is heavily underrated. The next best pick would be Omen. Like Jett, Omen also can play off angles, and his flashes complement duelists while trying to take control of A-site.

Sentinel

Unlike the other sentinels, Killjoy and Cypher can hold down a site single-handedly while gathering information from another site as well. Killjoy has a truly overpowered setup on C-site and B-site. Her turret, along with one of her nano swarms, can be placed in C-site, and the rest of her utility can be placed in B-site. As long as Killjoy plays near waterfalls, she can show presence in both sites, and her utilities provide her with enough stalling power for rotations. Cypher has similar capabilities with trips being placed at the entry of both C main and B main, showing presence in both sites.
