March 2024 Games that Should Not Be Missed

January and February were filled to the brim with amazing games that a lot of people have been looking forward to for years now. Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, Tekken 8, Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth, The Last of Us Part II Remastered, Persona 3: Reload, Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth and more. It seemed that it’s just the start of the new year and we’re already starting off strong.

But seeing as it’s only January and there are still some games to release left this month (Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth and Tekken 8), we still have some February games to look forward to this year. But even  there, the train doesn’t stop. March is full of major game releases of game franchises that hasn’t seen an entry for years and brand new IP’s.

If you’re looking for games to play in March, then boy do we have some recommendations on what games you should look forward to in March 2024.

Alone in the Dark (2024)

Release Date: March 20, 2024

Platforms: PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S

The Alone in the Dark franchise has been around for a very long time, going way back in the 1990’s. It is a survival horror franchise that has been dormant since 2015, thanks to the commercial failure of Alone in the Dark: Illumination, which was supposed to be a revival of the franchise that ended up killing it and putting it back on the shelf for another 9 years.

But for the latest Alone in the Dark game, it seems the game is going back to its roots by taking place within a house like the original games. The game is implementing modern third person mechanics for gameplay and combat, which should entice those who enjoy these types of games.

Dragon’s Dogma II

Release Date: March 22, 2024

Platforms: PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S

If you’ve never heard of Dragon’s Dogma, then I don’t blame you. Dragon’s Dogma was an RPG game that released back in 2012 and is medieval RPG that Capcom developed. It was neither a success or a flop, which resulted in the game pretty much being shelved for a decade. That is, until Dragon’s Dogma II was announced in 2023.

Dragon’s Dogma II will be a sequel to the original Dragon’s Dogma, taking advantage of the power of the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles to give a better experience than it did back in the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 era. If you want to experience a fantastic RPG game, then try out Dragon’s Dogma first before you think about getting Dragon’s Dogma II.

Rise of the Ronin

Release Date: March 22, 2024

Platform: PlayStation 5

If you’re itching that Ghost of Tsushima itch, then there is a game that will definitely scratch that itch and more. Rise of the Ronin is an open world, hack and slash game that features an original story set in the 1800’s of Japan. It’s not a sequel to Ghost of Tsushima or involved with anything in that universe, as Rise of the Ronin is made by Team Ninja, a different development studio.

Team Ninja has had an impressive track record of making amazing games in the past, with their latest game Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty doing very well.
