Gran Turismo 7’s January Update + Patch Notes

Gran Turismo 7 Title Art

January may be nearly over, but that doesn’t mean Gran Turismo 7 will let it end without an update. It doesn’t have any show-stopping additions, but that doesn’t mean it’s not worth our attention. Let’s dive right in.

The first notable thing about GT7 7’s January update is the addition of three cars: BVLGARI Aluminium Vision Gran Turismo, Genesis X Gran Berlinetta Vision Gran Turismo Concept, Suzuki Jimny XC ’18. However, only two of these three vehicles are accessible to everyone at the moment, unless you purchase the Bulgari Aluminium Gran Turismo Special Edition for $4,800 / £4,490 / €5,200. If so, you’ll get a QR code that you can scan to get the BVLGARI Aluminium Vision Gran Turismo for free. Otherwise, you’ll have to wait until late February to access the car without buying the watch.

As for tracks, there haven’t been any new ones this time, but we do get two new events: the Jimny Cup and the Vision Gran Turismo Trophy. These events take place at current in-game tracks: Sardegna Windmills, Willow Springs, and Lake Louise for Jimny Cup; Monza and Tokyo Expressway for Vision Gran Turismo Trophy.

If you spend any time in the Cafe at all, you’ll now have the menu books for Jimny Cup, Nissan Motorsports, and Dodge. These menu books are accessible at collector levels 28, 46, and 32, respectively. Additionally, there are also new conversations with car designers in the cafe, depending on which car you’re using at the moment. These designers are Ed Welburn, Fabio Filippini, Freeman Thomas, and Hideo Kodama.

Of course, more changes came with the January update, so here are the complete patch notes.
