GalaxyTrail’s highly anticipated action-platformer Freedom Planet 2 is now available for $24.99 or equivalent on PlayStation 4 / 5, Xbox Series X / S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. It was previously released on PC in September 2022.
The sequel to the beloved 2014 indie hit, Freedom Planet, arrives with a host of new features and improvements. Players can dive into the expansive Adventure Mode or try their hand at the newly added Boss Rush mode for an extra dose of fast-paced challenge.
Freedom Planet 2 brings back the world of Avalice and the heroes who saved it in the original adventure. Years later, Lilac, Carol, and Milla return with enhanced abilities and are joined by the powerful Neera Li. Their mission? To stand against an ancient threat that could spell doom for their world.
The thrilling sequel retains the high-octane action of its predecessor, allowing players to dash and leap through stages in their own unique way. Combat is fast and fluid, and players are encouraged to experiment with each character’s distinct fighting styles.
To celebrate the console launch, Marvelous is offering a 10 percent discount on the game across all platforms until April 10th. Please note that an active PlayStation Plus membership is required to take advantage of the discount on PlayStation platforms.
Additionally, Nintendo Switch owners who missed the original game have a chance to experience the entire saga. A special bundle including both Freedom Planet and Freedom Planet 2 is available exclusively on the Nintendo eShop for $34.99 (currently $31.49 with the launch day discount). Meanwhile, players who already own Freedom Planet on Switch can purchase the sequel with a permanent 10 percent Owner’s Discount starting April 11th.
