Social deduction horror game Deceit 2 has officially become a free-to-play experience! The game throws you and a group of players into a tense cat-and-mouse scenario, where two among you are Infected creatures secretly plotting against the rest. It’s a battle of trust, deception, and ultimately, survival.
In Deceit 2, your actions depend on which team you’re on:
THE INNOCENT: SURVIVE AND ESCAPE
- Stay alive and outwit the Terrors or meet a grim fate.
- Complete tasks around the map to bring you closer to obtaining the escape key.

Deceit 2‘s shift to free-to-play also means new content and ways to play. The Pre-Season is underway, with Season One, titled “Humble Beginnings,” launching on April 3rd. These seasons add a regular flow of rewards, challenges, and cosmetics to keep you coming back for more.
If you’re hungry for even more deception, the Werewolf DLC has arrived. Unleash the ferocious Wyrtorn Terror, become the neutral but scheming Chemist, and explore the eerie Project Wurgen facility. This DLC also includes the Season One Pass, giving you a headstart on rewards.
Whether you’re a cunning Infected, a determined Innocent, or a chaotic Cursed, Deceit 2‘s blend of strategy and social deduction promises intense matches where no two games are alike. Originally released on PC in 2023, Deceit 2 is the sequel to the original Deceit, a horror-themed social deduction game that pioneered the genre. Trapped in an asylum at the mercy of a twisted lunatic, players will be assigned a team, either Innocent, Infected, or Cursed. The Innocent must work together to escape the Ritual, the Infected lie then transform into monsters, and the Cursed are on their own mission to unleash chaos on the group. So who can you trust?
