Qualifications for the BetBoom Dacha tournament are over, and we all witnessed some top-notch Dota action. Team nouns managed to win against Heroic for the NA & SA spot, while OG totally outplayed Tundra Esports in a best-of-5 format, winning 3-0.
Besides nouns and OG, the BetBoom Dacha tournament will see the action coming from Virtus.pro, Team Falcons, and Azure Ray, which is possibly the best China team at the moment.
North and South America Crowned nouns
We all know that the North American region struggled in the past couple of years in the Dota 2 scene. All their good players migrated to the EU, which is now the most competitive scene ever. However, with the recent change in their line-up, nouns managed to show their worth winning over Heroic, a team from Peru.
The noun’s captain, Tal “Fly” Aizik, drafted all three games perfectly, securing yet another win for his team and a chance to show that the NA region is not to be taken lightly.
OG Securing EU Spot
After a dominating performance, OG managed to take Tundra Esports down in a best-of-5 series. Their 3-0 win is showcasing that OG is ready to rumble with the strongest teams in the Dota 2 scene. And BetBoom Dacha tournament is the perfect place to do so.
Their recent player change is surely for the best, considering the fact that they easily walked through the EU qualifiers.
Virtus Pro – EEU Dominance
With a very strong performance in the East European region, Virtus Pro managed to secure their spot for the BetBoom Dacha tournament. Their mid lanner squad1x was performing out of this world with Ember Spirit. In that light, they outplayed the L1ga Team, which is stacked with some popular names like RAMZES666 and Kiyotaka.
The VP’s captain, FNG, a well-versed Dota 2 player, is ready to take this team to new heights.
Azure Ray – China and SEA
Since China and SEA regions merged together, similar to what happened with North and South Americas, the qualification round was a nail-biter. However, Azure Ray stands strong against Geek Fam, winning 3-2 in a best-of-five match. Even though Azure Ray won the first two games, Geek Fam managed to equalize it on the next two maps.
But Ori and Batch shined bright in the 5th game with Timber and Ember Spirit. They lead their team to victory, therefore securing a spot for the BetBoom Dacha qualifier.
Team Falons – MENA Region
Even though MENA is a new region in Dota, the area quickly gained popularity. This region is rich with teams like PSG Quest, Nigma Galaxy, and Team Falcons. The whole qualification phase was fierce here as well, and Team Falcons barely won against PSG Quest 3-2, securing their spot for the BetBoom Dacha tour. When the dust settles, it’s clear that Ammar “ATF” Al-Assaf and Andreas Franck ”Cr1t-” Nielsen is still in good shape.
Their victory over PSG Quest is showcasing the team’s strength and endurance in the Dota 2 competitive scene. Most importantly, they are still to show their true strength, that’s why this tournament is for!
