American actress Amber Heard, who still has a role in the upcoming film Aquaman 2, has been cut in its entirety from the latest teaser.
The actress, meanwhile, lost the long-running defamation case against her ex-husband Johnny Depp two years ago and seems to have been playing a smaller and smaller role ever since.
The more promotional material appears of the upcoming film Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, the smaller the role Amber Heard seems to play in it. This appears to be the case again with the recently released teaser of the DC film. Indeed, the actress, who just last year deposed against her ex-husband Johnny Depp in the famously long-running libel case, is not seen at all in the new video. This is remarkable, considering that Heard still played one of the main roles in the first part as Mera, the daughter of King Nereus and also the romantic interest of the main character Aquaman.
The characters of Jason Momoa and Heard may get along very well, but on the set things definitely did not work out between the actors. According to Heard, Momoa allegedly wanted her fired and sometimes appeared on set dressed as Depp. “Jason drunk – late on set. Dresses like Johnny. Also has all the rings,” court papers read. A DC spokesman denied the lead actor’s behavior. “Jason works his ass off, likes to drink the occasional beer like everyone else, but does not appear drunk on set.”
