How To Claim Stellar Blade Pre Order Bonuses GUIDE

If you pre-ordered Stellar Blade or picked up the fancy Deluxe Edition, you’re entitled to some sweet bonus goodies. But actually claiming those items isn’t as straightforward as you might think. The game doesn’t just hand them over right away. Instead, you’ll need to progress a few hours in before you can access the pre-order bonuses and deluxe edition rewards.

Don’t worry, though, this guide will explain exactly how and when you can get your hands on that extra loot in Stellar Blade. We’ll cover both the pre-order items as well as what comes packed in the bigger deluxe bundle. Let’s start with the pre-order bonuses first:

Claiming Your Stellar Blade Pre-Order Bonuses

If you pre-purchased Stellar Blade, either the standard or deluxe version, you’re owed three special bonus cosmetic items for the main character Eve:

    • Planet Diving Suit outfit
    • Classic Round Glasses
    • Ear Armour Earrings

To get these pre-order rewards, you’ll first need to progress through the opening hours until you reach the city of Xion. This is after defeating the boss Gigas and completing the story mission “Scavenger Adam.”

Once you arrive in Xion, go to Adam’s ship which will be parked nearby. Right in front of the ship is a platform with a glowing yellow box. Simply interact with this box and it will grant you the three pre-order bonus cosmetics for Eve.

The items are then yours to equip from the gameplay menu/inventory whenever you want to rock those new looks for Eve. Just be aware that if you miss grabbing the box the first time in Xion, you may need to revisit the area later to claim the goods.

What’s Included in the Deluxe Edition?

If you went the extra mile and purchased the Stellar Blade Deluxe Edition, you get a bigger bundle of bonus content. Here’s everything included:

    • Stargazer Suit outfit for Eve
    • Half-Rim Glasses for Eve
    • Quadruple Rectangle Earrings for Eve
    • Stargazer Coat outfit for Lily
    • Stargazer Wear outfit for Adam
    • Stargazer Pack for the Drone
    • 2,000 SP Experience (for leveling)
    • 5,000 Gold currency

Just like the pre-order items, you’ll claim these deluxe edition rewards from the same glowing yellow box in front of Adam’s ship when you first reach Xion.

All of the outfits and cosmetic items are exclusive to the deluxe edition and can’t be unlocked any other way in the base game. The currency and experience bonuses give you a nice head start as well.

Upgrade to the Deluxe Edition

What if you accidentally bought the standard edition but now want the deluxe bonuses? No need to start over, as there is an upgrade option on PlayStation Store.

Simply purchase the “Stellar Blade Digital Deluxe Upgrade” for $10/£10. This will grant you all the deluxe edition bonus content outlined above, even if you’re already some way into the game.

It’s a neat way to add those exclusive outfits and other goodies after the fact if you’re regretting not getting the full deluxe experience initially.

Easy to Miss

The one downside to how Stellar Blade handles pre-orders and deluxe bonuses is how easy it is to completely overlook that glowing box in Xion where you claim them.

The game really doesn’t do much to point you toward it or make it clear that’s where you’ll find your paid extras. I can see a lot of players breezing right past and missing out.

If you do happen to make that mistake, the box with the bonuses won’t disappear. You can always return to the Xion dock area later in the game to claim any pre-order or deluxe items you earned but initially missed out on.

For cosmetics junkies, those deluxe edition outfits and accessories are really slick and worthwhile. The pre-order bonuses are nice too, especially that cool diving suit look for Eve. Just keep an eye out for that glowing yellow box once you hit Xion so you don’t accidentally bypass them!
