Twitch CEO Dan Clancy recently received a response from Elon Musk after requesting some technical support with Starlink and the possibility of a stream with the Tesla boss. The X CEO has been making headlines in the streaming world after attracting millions of users to watch him play Diablo 4 earlier this month.
As X continues to grow and become a major player in the streaming industry, Dan Clancy teased the idea of collaborating with Elon Musk on a broadcast. However, he made it clear that this could only happen if he could get some assistance with Starlink. Clancy reached out to Elon directly on Twitter, expressing his fandom for Starlink and his need for better upload speeds for live streaming.
It should work. What uplink bit rate do you need?

Twitch CEO wants to stream with Elon Musk
On October 26, Twitch CEO Dan Clancy reached out to Elon Musk on X, formerly known as Twitter, for some help with his Starlink connection. Clancy revealed that he lives in an area where he uses Starlink, but sometimes the upload speed can’t keep up for live streaming. He asked if there was anything that Musk could do to help.
In addition to his request for tech support, Clancy also expressed interest in potentially streaming with Elon Musk on X. Musk responded to Clancy’s request, asking what uplink bit rate Clancy needed. Clancy was impressed by Musk’s response and asked if someone at Starlink could help him directly.
Although it’s unclear whether Musk and Clancy will end up streaming together, it could be an exciting event that brings Twitch and X closer together if it happens.
