Valve, the game’s developer, recently released guidelines on how to access the treasure. The post includes detailed instructions on how fans can link their Steam account to their pass for the Main Event at the Climate Pledge Arena to get the treasure. The guidelines also highlight an additional reward that can be earned during the playoffs, which will drop to random tournament attendees every time First Blood occurs in the game. The treasure contains unique versions of Immortal items for seven heroes.

What is in the 2023 Crimson Witness Treasure for TI12?

Valve continues its tradition of rewarding fans on-site at The International Main Stage with the Crimson Witness Treasure. Fans who attend the event live and witness first bloods can get their hands on this exclusive treasure. The 2023 Crimson Witness Treasure features seven updated Immortals with the addition of blood-red particles. These updated Immortals are:

How to Get the Crimson Witness Treasure Drops

Attending TI12 in Person

Those who own a TI pass and will be attending the TI12 event in the Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle can get the exclusive Crimson Witness Treasure drops! To obtain this treasure, on-site fans need to locate “swag bag stations” inside the arena. Once at a station, fans should scan their TI pass to earn a swag bag. This swag bag is an exception to the arena’s bag policy for re-entry, so fans can bring it inside and outside the arena without any issues.

Inside the swag bag, fans will find instructions, a URL link, and a code. By using the link and the code, fans can link their Steam account to automatically receive one treasure. Additionally, fans will receive additional drops with each first blood that they spectate throughout the TI final weekend.

Watching TI12 Online

Unfortunately, fans who are watching the TI12 event online will not be eligible for the Crimson Witness Treasure drops. However, the treasure is tradable (from October 29 onward) and will be available for purchase on the market at a hefty price.
