Explore the Sea of Flowers side quest in Wuthering Waves – part of the epic Second Coming of Solaris event! Great rewards await you in this exciting Valley quest – but it can be tricky without the right info. Here’s everything you need to know about the Sea of Flowers in the Valley quest in Wuthering Waves.
Overview
In Wuthering Waves, players complete the Sea of Flowers in the Valley side quest during the Second Coming of Solaris event. This quest has you submit a certain item to get rewards but it can be tricky without the right information. Here’s how to do the Sea of Flowers in the Valley quest:
Talk to Maqi to Start the Sea Flowers in the Valley Quest
For the Sea of Flowers side quest in Wuthering Waves, visit Jinzhou, an eastern city with a lively market and the Pioneer Association, which runs local excursions. Talk to Maqi, the friendly receptionist, at the Pioneer Association headquarters, a grand stone building. She’ll see you’re interested in the Sea of Flowers quest and give you a sample vial of one of the special blossoms.
Maqi will explain that this sample identifies the very rare flower petals you need. She’ll tell the story of the Sea of Flowers, a once a century blooming meadow believed to provide potent petals for enchanters and alchemists that blooms during the summer solstice. With the sample, Maqi will instruct you on how to use it to find the petals – but do be warned it’s a tedious quest.
Give the Sea of Flowers to Maqi
You need to send a flower to Maqi at the Pioneer Association headquarters in Jinzhou to complete the Sea of Flowers quest. There’s also a paid side quest where you can chat to a leading botanist – Linsu – for more information about the Sea of Flowers. But you can send the correct flower to Maqi at any time and skipping the optional quest won’t affect the main storyline in any way.
Talk to Maqi again when the first conversation is over and drag and drop one of the following flowers from the list:
- Angelica Aguirre
- Dewvetch
- Wintry Bell
- Pecok Flower
- Iris
- Honeysuckle
- Waterlamp
- Viola
- Bunnywort
- Lemongrass
- Pavo Plumb
Having one of these Flowers is enough to complete the Sea of flowers quest in the limited-time event. However, do not submit the Wintry Bell, Iris, or Pecok Flower, as these are ascension materials for many Resonators and may be more valuable to keep.
If you don’t have any of the required flowers in your stock yet, order them from the Shifang Pharmacy in Jinzhou. Also note that the shop’s stock resets every Monday – so take advantage of this to grab some ascension material flowers too. Once you give the flower to Maqi, you get your rewards for completing the Sea of Flowers quest.
Rewards
This particular side quest provides you with the following valuable rewards, so make sure you prioritize finishing this one before beginning other missions in Wuthering Waves:
- 60x Asterite – A rare and sought-after crafting material for repairing and enhancing heavy equipment and weapons.
- 4x advanced energy Core – These Energy cores are used to build the best Energy weapons and power tech gadgets.
- 30,000x Shell Credits – Shell Credits are the premium in-game currency in Wuthering Waves, used to purchase exclusive items, cosmetics, and other collectibles from vendors and traders around the world.
This can give you the biggest advantage – early rewards let you level up gear, create powerful weapons, and loot. The Asterite and Advanced Energy Cores are especially valuable as they become much harder to come by in large numbers later in the game.
Given the size of the rewards on offer, we’d recommend focusing on the Sea of Flowers side quest first before starting any other missions or questlines in Wuthering Waves. The resources you unlock will support the development of your character and give you the equipment and cash to tackle more demanding content.
Conclusion
The Sea of Flowers in the Valley quest is a fun and rewarding challenge that gives you resources and improves your gameplay. Follow these tips and tricks to navigate this limited-time event and maximize your Wuthering Waves experience. Happy questing!
