While the news that we would soon be welcoming an official Wonder Woman video game was greeted with cheers worldwide, the recent rumor that it might be a live service title rather caused alarm stage red.
To such an extent that a Warner Bros. representative quickly sent a statement into the world to debunk the rumor.
According to the statement, Wonder Woman will be a single-player adventure pure and simple, telling an original story that takes place in a dynamic open world. All very vague, but very promising. The dreaded live service model would emphatically not be pursued… although the possibility of microtransactions is unfortunately not excluded. The future will tell.
