Wild Rift Patch 6.3: Gilded Glory 5th Anniversary Update

Wild Rift Patch 6.3 celebrates five years of the game with new skins, events, and esports collaborations. This Gilded Glory update honors the community’s growth, the League of Legends Worlds 2025 partnership, and a year packed with creator events, champion updates, and ranked rewards.

Celebrating Five Years of Wild Rift

It’s been half a decade since Lux blinded enemies for the first time on mobile, and the Wild Rift 5th Anniversary is set to make that memory shine. This patch, titled Gilded Glory, features themed events, mini-celebrations, and free rewards. Players can earn seven free skins, including the standout Garden Party Braum, through in-game activities that radiate golden energy.

To mark the milestone, Wild Rift will feature limited-time challenges, energy events, and bonus missions that culminate in a surprise event after Worlds 2025. The patch serves as both a thank-you to longtime players and an invitation to newcomers to join the celebration.

League Worlds 2025 Collaboration and Esports Celebration

Chris Greeley from the League esports team confirmed that Wild Rift will partner directly with League of Legends during the Worlds 2025 Championship. This collaboration introduces Worlds-themed augments inspired by legendary players such as Faker, Uzi, and Caps. These special augments let players replicate famous pro plays — like Faker’s iconic Zed’s Deathmark.

A new Jarvan IV Worlds skin joins the mix, complete with Chromas for eight past champion teams. It’s unlockable through the Worlds 2025 Battle Pass, offering rewards themed around the Summoner’s Cup. Viewers tuning into official Worlds streams or creator co-streams will earn exclusive drops for both League PC and Wild Rift.

Wild Rounds: SMASH Tournament and New Champions

The year’s biggest creator event, Wild Rounds: SMASH, will take place in Vietnam. Competitors from Brazil, Korea, the Philippines, Turkey, Vietnam, and China will battle to become one of three SMASH champions for 2025. The event celebrates the Wild Rift creator community and will include viewer rewards and extra surprises.

Several champions also receive spotlight updates this patch. Nidalee returns with a new model and splash art; Rell brings magnetic crowd control to ranked; and Kog’Maw maintains his deadly yet adorable design. Yuumi gets major ability adjustments centered around a new “Best Friend” passive, while Zyra’s rework returns her to her vine-heavy, chaotic roots. Ranked Season 19 also begins, featuring Nilah as the new climb reward and Wondertown Vex leading the latest Wild Pass lineup.

Gameplay Changes and Adventure Mode Updates

Wild Rift Patch 6.3 fine-tunes core systems with several key updates. Rune diversity expands as sidelined options like Dark Harvest receive buffs to encourage alternative builds. Support players gain access to a new item, Radiant Virtue, and improved defensive gear value. Boot Enchantments are also streamlined for cleaner decision-making during matches.

The update also enhances the Adventure Mode experience. Turbocharged Rift introduces faster matches that culminate in a nine-minute final clash at mid lane. The Anvil and Daredevil’s Gambit systems debut, letting players forge buffs and embrace randomness for chaotic fun. Even Battlefest gets a new look, with visual and feature upgrades to keep gameplay fresh.

Finally, companion customization joins the celebration, featuring cosplay-inspired outfits — including a special Garen-themed companion. Every detail of Patch 6.3 emphasizes polish, celebration, and community spirit.
