Warframe Burston Prime Incarnon Guide: Farming, Builds, and Evolutions

Warframe has finally delivered one of the strongest general-purpose primaries with the Burston Prime Incarnon. This weapon turns ordinary missions into a spectacle, shredding enemies with ease once upgraded. From farming relics to unlocking its evolutions, here’s everything needed to get the most out of the Burston Prime Incarnon.

How to Farm Burston Prime Parts

The first step is getting Burston Prime itself. Its parts drop from multiple relics, and most long-term players already have a stash ready. Just open relics containing Burston Prime parts until the full set is complete.

To unlock the Incarnon upgrade, progress through the Steel Path. That requires completing every node on the Star Chart up through the Kuva Fortress, excluding Zariman and Sanctum. Steel Path unlocks after finishing The New War quest. Once done, access the Steel Path Circuit through the face icon that appears after The Duviri Paradox quest.

Each Circuit rotation may feature the Burston Prime Incarnon as a Tier 5 or Tier 10 reward. Select it accordingly, then clear objectives until the chosen tier is complete to claim the Incarnon Adapter.

Unlocking and Upgrading the Incarnon

With the adapter in hand, head to the Zariman and fast travel to Cavalero in the Crysalith. He’s the Incarnon weapon specialist. Evolving the Burston Prime requires unique Zariman resources, most notably Pathos Clamps. The fastest farm is running Isleweaver Orowyrm fights solo on normal mode.

A useful tip for semi-auto primaries like Burston Prime: in the settings menu, enable “fire manual trigger weapons continuously.” This allows holding down the fire button instead of repeatedly clicking or tapping, transforming the feel of the weapon.

Once installed, the Incarnon Adapter opens evolutions. Incarnon Form grants an auto-fire mode with radial Heat damage. Charge it with headshots, then activate with alt-fire to unleash a transformed, fully automatic variant that melts enemies.

Choosing Evolutions

The Burston Prime Incarnon offers flexible paths, but here are the standout picks:

  • Evolution 1: Incarnon Form – grants auto-fire and Heat damage.

  • Evolution 2: Fortress Salvo – +42% base damage when armor is over 450, better than its conditional alternative.

  • Evolution 3: Kinetic Battle – reduces recoil by 50%, making the gun more stable.

  • Evolution 4: Absolute Valor – +22% base critical chance. Alternatives like Fatal Affliction can work, but Absolute Valor is the most consistent.

These evolutions make the weapon versatile for both Steel Path and late-game scaling.

Best Builds for Burston Prime Incarnon

Two builds shine for Burston Prime Incarnon:

Multi-Shot Build

  • Viral setup using Primed Cryo Rounds and Malignant Force (normal versions work fine).

  • Gilded Truth or other fire rate mods.

  • Arcane choice: Arcane Deadhead for scaling damage, or Merciless/Dexterity as alternatives.

  • Swap Primed Bane of Grineer (or the appropriate faction Bane mod) depending on enemies faced.

Acuity Build

  • Swaps Galvanized Chamber for Primary Acuity.

  • Uses Galvanized Scope for crit scaling on headshots.

  • Great for players who consistently land headshots, delivering massive red crits.

For even higher numbers, combine with Epitaph (with a heat inherit build), Panzer Vulpaphyla companion setups, or damage buffing abilities like Roar and Nourish. These synergize perfectly with Burston Prime’s Incarnon form and evolutions.
