Valorant Patch 11.0 goes live this Wednesday with gameplay tweaks, quality-of-life updates, and a new map. The biggest winner this time is Waylay, who receives several buffs across her kit. Her time in Refract now ranges from 0.35 to 2 seconds, making teleporting feel smoother. The unequip time after using Refract drops to 0.8 seconds, and its reactivation windup falls to just 0.05 seconds.
Additionally, Waylay’s dash unequip time decreases to 0.6 seconds. Her Satchel also receives upgrades—its windup reduces from 0.75 to 0.6 seconds, and its radius increases from 10 to 12 meters. These changes aim to improve her fluidity in matches and make her more reliable across all skill levels.
Flash and Stun Nerfs Add Counterplay (Valorant 11.0 Patch Notes)
Phoenix, Neon, and Reyna all face adjustments this patch. Phoenix’s flash windup now takes 0.6 seconds, giving opponents slightly more time to react. Neon’s stun follows suit with a new 1-second windup. These timing changes give players more counterplay opportunities while preserving the need for smart timing.
Reyna’s Lear now has 80 HP instead of 100, and it includes clearer visual and audio cues when shot. Omen receives a consistency update: his smoke no longer creates an audio cue for enemies. However, teammates within 12.5 meters can still hear the cast. Brimstone now shares that audio cue for allies casting smokes nearby.
Corrode Map Joins Rotation as Pearl and Split Leave
Patch 11.0 introduces a new map named Corrode. It becomes available in ranked immediately for two weeks with 50% reduced RR losses on defeats. A Swiftplay-only queue will feature Corrode for the first five days. Meanwhile, Bind returns to the map pool for Competitive and Deathmatch. To accommodate this change, Pearl and Split rotate out.
Several agents also benefit from updated visuals and audio. Breach’s Aftershock now uses smaller, faster-resolving effects. Sova’s Recon Dart becomes easier to track thanks to louder, directional sound. His drone also offers clearer hit feedback. Players spotted by the drone now hear a warning loop.
Killjoy’s Lockdown detain delay drops from 0.5 seconds to 0.15 seconds, and Cypher’s dart gets upgraded visuals for better readability.
Act 4 Battle Pass Showcases Three New Skin Lines
Episode 9 Act 4 adds a battle pass featuring Perch, Space Piercer, and Atlas Command skins. Perch includes four seasonal color variants—autumn, spring, summer, and winter—and stylized cat animations across the Shorty, Bulldog, Marshall, and Phantom.
Space Piercer delivers a sci-fi look across the Sheriff, Judge, Guardian, and Ares. Atlas Command sticks to a grounded, military style for the Classic, Spectre, Outlaw, and Vandal. The melee weapon for this act is the Atlas Command Baton, complete with axe-style animations and spinning equip visuals.
This pass includes animated sprays, themed gun buddies, and lore-based player cards. Notable entries include Yoru’s “Retake” card, Deadlock’s bear charm, and Astra’s cosmic-themed sprays. Cards referencing past cinematics help mark the five-year anniversary of Valorant’s release.
Epilogue Rewards and Final Thoughts
The Epilogue tier includes golden versions of the Deadlock Chibi gun buddy and Shattered player card, plus 30 Radianite Points. The battle pass also ends with a unique animated player card featuring W jumping into a portal. This season’s cosmetics blend gameplay personality with in-world storytelling and stand out with variety and polish.
