Updated Best Settings for Valorant Console : A Beginner’s Guide

Valorant console is steadily picking up since its full release. While not every region has access to it, the number of players has already risen. Ranked play is live, and soon Riot will host pro tournaments. To start on the right track, here are the best settings for beginners new to the game. While sensitivities may vary from person to person, these settings are the best ones to start with.

Valorant Console General Map Settings

  • Rotate Map with Player and Change Orientation Based on Side: Turn these off.
  • Show Map Region Names: Always turn this on. It helps with callouts.
  • Invert Cursor and Controls X and Y: Avoid turning these on. It can be confusing.
  • Mini Map Size and Zoom: Set mini map size as large as possible but zoom out to know your player’s location on the current map.
  • Keep Players Centered: Turn this off.
  • Mini Map Vision Cones: Turn these on.
  • Content Filter Show Mature Content: Turn this on. If it hinders performance, consider turning it off.
  • Privacy: Hide your name to avoid stream sniping.
  • Enemy Highlight Color: Set to Yellow for better visibility.
  • Bullet Tracers: Turn these on for better visual feedback.
  • Show New Player Tips: Turn this off.
  • First Person Handiness: Set to right if you are right-handed.

  • Default Movement Mode: Set to run.
  • Movement Dead Zone: Set to 0.2.
  • Weapon Swap Behavior: Prefer double-tap.
  • L2 and R2 Button Dead Zones: Set to zero for button presses.
  • Plant and Diffuse Behavior: Always on hold for quick actions.
  • Auto Equip Priority: Set to strongest except for Yoru, which should be set to most recently equipped.

Stance Indicator

  • Stance Indicator: Turn this on for better fluidity in gunfights.

Valorant Console Sensitivity and Vibration

  • Dampen Sensitivity: Turn this off.
  • Vibration: Turn this off.

Crosshair Settings

  • Crosshair: Use dots or small crosses. Avoid fancy crosshairs for better stats.

  • Client FPS: Display FPS only.
  • Volume: Set to 80, depending on headphone type.
