Top Fortnite Landing Spots for Chapter 2 Remix – Map Guide

Chapter 2 Remix introduces many differences compared to prior Fortnite seasons. The limited loot pool creates a challenge as many items feel low-value, often requiring players to loot multiple locations. Additionally, Chapter 2 Remix now includes more rifts on the map, improving mobility and making previously undesirable spots more viable. Here are the best Fortnite landing spots for Chapter 2: Remix.

Slurp Shack: Quick Shield with Minimal Loot (Fortnite landing spot Guide)

The Slurp Shack near the Rig on the map’s bottom-left corner is a valuable spot. While it has only seven chest spawns, it contains 49 slurp barrels. Breaking the barrels, either by destroying the floor or netting, allows players to gain maximum shield quickly. While it lacks extensive loot, the Shack’s fast loot access and a nearby motorboat make it easy to third-party the Rig. A rift near the Rig’s vault provides additional mobility, enabling quick transitions into active battles and ensuring better loot opportunities.

Orchard: A Consistent Choice

The Orchard, located above the main Frenzy Farm area, offers 17 chest spawns and a decent amount of loot. Though it lacks slurp barrels or rifts, the Orchard does feature whiplash car spawns, providing fast mobility. After looting the Orchard, players can travel to nearby areas like Pleasant or the Dog Pound for additional loot. While not guaranteed the best items, the Orchard’s density and quick loot make it a solid option for efficient gameplay.

Camp Cod: Improved by Rifts

Camp Cod on the map’s bottom-right corner has historically been appealing but challenging due to its remote location. With 32 chest spawns and dispersed loot, Camp Cod’s primary drawback was its lack of mobility. However, the addition of rifts in Chapter 2 Remix resolves this issue. Camp Cod now provides players a secluded yet accessible spot with ample loot, making it a viable option for those seeking a quieter start.

Weather Station: High-Reward POI

The Weather Station, a small but efficient spot from Chapter 2, continues to offer valuable loot. With 13 chest spawns, the Weather Station features a Choppas spawn and proximity to Caddy Corner, a location with even more loot. The vault at Caddy Corner remains closed but will eventually open, providing a path to substantial loot. Players can use the helicopter to transition from the Weather Station to Caddy Corner, adding flexibility and loot options.

Northeast Islands: Rifts Improve Navigation

The islands on the map’s northeast side have traditionally provided minimal loot and poor mobility. However, rifts now enable players to transition easily between these islands. With the imminent addition of the Shark POI in the upcoming Ice Spice update, these islands offer a strategic path to land, gather loot, and rift to the Shark POI for better resources.

Named POIs: Dirty Docks and Craggy Cliffs

Dirty Docks and Craggy Cliffs, both named POIs, offer good loot but are often overlooked due to their isolated locations. Previously hindered by limited mobility, these POIs now feature rifts, solving mobility concerns and allowing players to traverse the map faster. This change enhances both locations, making them ideal for players who prefer quieter starts without sacrificing game flow.
