Nintendo’s Summer Sale 2026 is live right now on the eShop and it ends July 8 at 11:59 p.m. PT. That gives you just under two weeks to grab discounts across both Nintendo Switch and Switch 2, and this year the sale is unusually good because it includes multiple first-party Nintendo titles going on sale at the same time.
Nintendo almost never cuts prices on its own games outside the holiday window. Seeing Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, and Fire Emblem: Three Houses all discounted in the same sale is rare on its own. Stack that on top of some massive third-party discounts and this is one of the better eShop sale events in a while.

Nintendo First-Party Deals You Rarely See This Low
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (30% off)
Breath of the Wild is the best-selling entry in Zelda franchise history, with over 33.5 million copies sold. It almost never goes on sale outside of the holidays. Right now it is $48.99 for the Switch 2 Edition and $41.99 for the Switch 1 Edition. If you already own the Switch 1 version and want the Switch 2 upgrade, that upgrade pack is also 30% off at just $6.99 instead of its usual $10. The Switch 2 Edition runs at 4K 60 fps, so if you own a Switch 2 and have not played the game yet, pick up that version.
Fire Emblem: Three Houses (30% off, $41.99)
One of the most beloved entries in the Fire Emblem series, Three Houses is 30% off at $41.99. The full expansion pass is also 30% off, so the complete package comes to around $59.48. If you enjoy turn-based strategy RPGs and have not touched this one, this price is hard to argue with.
Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity (30% off, $41.99)
Set in the same timeline as Breath of the Wild, Age of Calamity is a Warriors-style action game featuring characters from that era. A free demo is available on the eShop if you want to try before buying. The expansion pass DLC is also 30% off as part of this sale.
The Best Value-Per-Dollar Third-Party Deals
Monster Hunter Rise + Sunbreak Deluxe (75% off, $17.49)
This is the best bang-for-buck deal in the entire sale. Monster Hunter Rise + Sunbreak Deluxe normally retails for $69.99 and includes the base game, deluxe content, and the full Sunbreak expansion story. At $17.49, that is a massive chunk of content for very little money. It holds an 88 Metacritic score.
Persona 5 Royal (70% off, $17.99)
One of the highest-rated JRPGs ever made is down to $17.99, from its regular $60 price. This is one of the better price points it has reached on eShop. If you have been sitting on the fence, this is as good a moment as any.
Unicorn Overlord Monarch Edition (70% off, $20.99)
Unicorn Overlord launched to strong critical reception in 2024. The Monarch Edition normally sits at $70 and is now down to $20.99. At that price it is practically a no-brainer for fans of tactical RPGs.
Hades (Original, 70% off, $7.49)
The original Hades for Switch 1 is down to $7.49. If you are on the fence about buying Hades II and want to check if the roguelite loop is your thing first, $7.49 is practically nothing to find out. It runs fine on Switch 2 via backwards compatibility.
Hades II (30% off, $20.99)
Hades II released in September 2025 and is now 30% off at $20.99, down from $30. Both Switch 1 and Switch 2 versions are available at this price.
Yu-Gi-Oh! Early Days Collection (70% off, $14.99)
This collection of classic Yu-Gi-Oh! games normally costs $49.99 and is down to $14.99. If you grew up with any of these games, it is worth the ask at this price.

The Digital Deluxe Edition is 35% off at $45.49, down from $70. Note: this is the standalone Reload version, not the older Persona 3 Portable included in the collection bundle below.
Persona Collection (70% off, $26.99)
Bundles Persona 5 Royal, Persona 4 Golden, and Persona 3 Portable for $26.99. That is three full-length JRPGs for less than $30. The Persona 3 included here is the Portable version, not Reload.
