Summary

  • Act 4 team comps prioritize double sentinel on defender-sided maps like Corrode, while controller-heavy comps dominate smaller maps like Bind.
  • Multiple agents emerged in the controller role across multiple maps, while Jett and Reyna led duelist picks.
  • Core picks for team comps include agents like Cypher, Sova, and Fade who work well across different strategic approaches.

The meta shifts after Valorant introduced Act 4 caused changes in team comps as well. Players are adapting and adjusting their strategies following the new Act. Some agents appear popular on several maps while few completely dominate the entire map roster. These are the best Valorant Act 4 team comps that will bring you an exceptional result.

Corrode: The Double Sentinel Meta

This fairly new addition to Valorant’s extensive map pool has been catching the attention of players. It quickly established itself as a defender-sided battleground, allowing certain agents to shine. With Corrode, a double sentinel setup works well to ensure victory against the map’s unique challenges.

Yoru, Omen, Fade, Vyse, and Cypher make a great team when playing in Corrode. Fade dominates the initiator role in this field, due to wide-open sites. Moreover, Cypher with Vyse provides a great site lockdown without range restrictions.

Meanwhile, Fade’s Prowlers can effectively clear several rat corners and 50-50 angles present in the map. Then, Yoru also works impressively by lurking across the map through her teleportation abilities. It makes her an excellent addition to Corrode’s team comps over Jett.

Bind: Controller Paradise

While Sentinels shine in Corrode, the Bind map offers a tight but exciting space for Controllers to move. Bind prefers a double controller setup due to the compact map layout, preferring some agents’ abilities. Here, Viper together with Omen, Skye, Cypher, and Raze, creates exceptional team comps for Bind.

Although Reyna appears as the most successful duelist in Bind, Raze’s explosive utility offers more stability to the team. Alongside, Omen’s Paranoia becomes more effective in the small setting than on large maps. Then, Viper’s wall and ultimate shuts down B-site pushes to give the team a defensive advantage.

Also, her Judge gameplay thrives particularly in the map’s tight corridors. Moreover, Skye’s Trailblazer helps to clear dangerous shotgun angles around U-haul on A-site. So, using these agents together in Bind helps to maximize the entire map layout to the team’s advantage.

Ascent: The Lurker’s Domain

Almost similar to Corrode’s team comps, agents such as Yoru, Omen, Sova, Cypher, and Vyse dominate Ascent. This is the most effective composition for this map due to superior team unity in coordinated play. To win Ascent, teams should have great mid-control to open space for strategies.

Yoru’s fake footsteps and teleportation provide this excellently, allowing his team to position. Also, his clone can clear Cypher tips which is essential for double sentinel setups to work. So, combining Yoru’s Dimensional Drift and Omen’s Ultimate gives your team an advantage to attack during post-plant.

Haven: Three-Site Control

Neon, Omen, Sova, Cypher, and Breach serve as one of the excellent team comps for Haven in Valorant Act 4. These agents perfectly work with Haven’s unique three-site layout, ensuring the match victory. While Jett remains a common duelist choice, replacing him with Neon provides better value for a retake.

Neon has speed and utility in her kit that will let you move agile on the map. Then, Cypher can hold C-site and garage alone giving significant advantages. In return, the remaining four players can focus on playing defense for A and B sections.

Sova’s drone efficiently clears garage angles, while providing shock darts to counter enemy Cypher. Breach and Neon together excel functioning in retake situations due to being effective utility in Haven.

Icebox: Vertical Control

Jett finally sees action in Icebox with Killjoy, Sova, Viper, and Omen. Combining their ability kit shows exceptional performance in Icebox’s vertical battlefield. It uses a double controller setup that works well with the map’s complex geometry.

Killjoy becomes the primary sentinel pick for this comp with her superior area denial capabilities. Meanwhile, Jett provides up draft ability granting access to crucial vertical angles that are unreachable to other agents. Also, her Operator maximized the map’s long sightlines which gave the team an upper hand.

Fracture: Post-Plant Specialists

Cypher, Breach, Brimstone, Neon, and Killjoy, on the other hand, enjoy dominating Fracture among maps. This double sentinel setup helps handle the map’s multiple angles, while Breach excels in post-plant scenarios. Brimstone’s molotov and stim beacon then addresses Fracture’s rotation demands better than other controllers. While their duelist, Neon, uses speed to enable crucial quick rotations and retakes.

Lotus: Utility Synergy

Last in the Valorant Act 4 map roster is Lotus which favors team comps that maximize on utility skills. Agents Clove, Reyna, Vyse, Fade, and Raze exhibits strong presence in this map. Fade and Raze deliver exceptional utility advantages when against other team comps by dealing devastating damage.

Their seize-grenade combination allows the team to move across the maps safely. Moreover, some allows Fade’s Prowlers to excellently clear C-site’s tight corner. Meanwhile, Viper’s wall provides A-main control for attacking rounds.

Conclusion

These are all the dominating team comps based on Valorant Act 4 maps. Consideringly, the map pool remains largely familiar to most players besides the new map, Corrode. Practice using multiple agents to ensure you can adjust across all maps.
