Now, here’s an updated list of the best Valorant 11.0 Patch agents according to their role.
Sentinel: Cypher Reigns Supreme
The Morrocan intelligence leads the Sentinels group despite the recent patch update. Cypher is the lone S-tier Sentinel agent after maintaining his dominance in the current patch. His ability to single-handedly control sites through strategic Trapwire placements, Spycam positioning, and Cyber Cage usage.
Despite receiving a 0.5-second windup, he still shines for his unlimited range capabilities. He excels whether in Ascent, Haven, Icebox, Lotus, Bind, Sunset or in the new Corrode map. Moreover, it enhanced his information-gathering potential by improving the visuals of his Spycam dart.
Meanwhile, agents such as Sage, Killjoy, and Deadlock also make great options for users wanting to play the Sentinel role. These are considerably A-tiered heroes, performing great even in competitive matches regardless of the map. The recent buff on Sage slows down orb effectiveness against dashing enemies while improving self-heal numbers.

Compared to other initiators, Gekko has excellent economy value for his reusable abilities, including ultimate. Close to him is Sova, an A-tier Initiator, with impressive information-gathering capabilities. He uses drone surveillance and dart lineups to build his team’s success.
