TFT Patch 15.4 has finally arrived, and it’s one of the biggest updates in recent memory. The update reworks items, overhauls traits, and adds fresh power-ups that have completely shifted the way compositions are played. Instead of slow scaling strategies, the game now favors reroll comps and tempo-driven play. Below is a detailed look at the strongest tier list comps, with tips on how to survive and thrive in the current patch.
Reroll Meta in TFT Patch 15.4
Many players are calling this patch a “roll patch,” claiming only a handful of reroll comps are viable. While reroll lines are dominant, there’s more flexibility than it first appears. The most important rule is commit early by matching your items with the units you pick up in stage one. This prevents confusion over whether to hold onto pairs like Gnar, Lucian, Kai’Sa, or Jhin without direction.
Tempo is another major factor this patch. Most reroll boards spike early with stage two rolls, which punishes greedy fast-eight strategies. Instead of loss streaking, it’s better to slam items and play strong boards. Consistent win/loss streaks are fine, but falling too far behind guarantees disaster when everyone spikes on stage three.
Fan Service Reroll (Rakan + Xayah)
The most consistent composition in TFT Patch 15.4 is Fan Service Reroll, built around Rakan and Xayah. This comp spikes on level six by rolling for 3-star Rakan and Xayah while stacking Protector units.
The key mechanic is securing Fan Service power-ups on both Rakan and Xayah, which is guaranteed if you hit it on one first. Always roll Rakan before Xayah to avoid bricking the odds. Rakan should also receive the first set of items since he stalls for Xayah—without a solid frontline, even perfect Xayah items won’t matter.
Itemization priority:
-
Rakan → Archangel’s Staff, Titan’s Resolve
-
Xayah → Kraken Slayer, Giant Slayer, Rageblade (situational)
Tiny Team and Double Trouble augments both excel here, while econ options like Too Much Value provide reroll stability. Jinx and Yasuo can flex into the lineup depending on augments, with Jinx being especially strong when paired with Tiny Team.
Heavyweight Malzahar
Another rising S-tier comp is Heavyweight Malzahar, a surprising mix of heavy frontliners and a magic damage carry. Despite the odd pairing, this synergy works because of recent buffs to Heavyweights, Poppy, Wraith, and Malzahar himself.
The setup relies on four Heavyweights (Zac, Aatrox, Kabuko, plus one) with Malzahar as the main AP threat. The dream board features 3-star Malzahar and Darius, but even without both, the comp consistently places top four.
Itemization priority:
-
Malzahar → Void Staff, Rabadon’s Deathcap, Blue Buff
-
Frontline → Sunfire, Gargoyle, Redemption
Shadow Clone is Malzahar’s best fruit, currently overtuned, while augments like Magic Roll and Heavyweight Circuit provide strong consistency. This comp thrives when you hit strong 3-cost rerolls and tempo power early.
Soul Reaper Viego
In A-tier, Soul Reaper Viego has quickly risen as a strong carry, powered by artifact synergy. Portable Forge and anvils nearly always provide an item he can abuse, making him extremely versatile.
Viego’s most powerful option is Stretchy Arms, which enhances his attack chains, while Trickster can change his playstyle by turning him into a solo frontline diver who teleports directly to enemy carries like Xayah.
Itemization priority:
-
Viego → Guinsoo’s Rageblade, Hand of Justice, Rabadon’s Deathcap (or flexible AP/AD mix)
This comp flexes into several lines depending on artifacts, but always builds around extending fights and maximizing Viego’s DPS uptime.
