Sixth major update for K.O Coliseum set, 15.6, has rolled out in Teamfight Tactics this October 8, 2025. The update focused on transforming 5-cost units as primary carries instead of support units while also introducing 2XKO Power Ups. Here’s everything you should know about TFT Patch 15.6!
New 2XKO Power Ups

The highlight of the recent update is none other than the addition of 15 new Power Ups. Riot Games recently released a fighting game, 2XKO, in early access. Now, they are bringing some of its mechanics into the tactical strategy game, TFT.
Combat-Focused Power Ups:

- 2X Contender: Ahri, Braum, Darius, Ekko, Jinx, Vi, and Yasuo gains 4% Damage Amp plus 2% Durability per unique copy fielded
- 2XKO: Stuns enemies within 2 hexes for 2 seconds after two takedowns, gaining 35% Damage Amp
- Double Down: Grants 18% Damage Amp, and when casting, your other Powered Up unit gains 20% of Mana spent
- Fury Break: Provides 25% Attack Speed with burst effects when Powered Up units die
Champion-Specific Enhancements:

- Super Mega (Jinx): Every 3rd cast doubles in size with 50% more damage
- Stalking Dart (Ahri): Fires foxfire darts every 10 Mana gained
- Snax Time (Braum): Casts throw 5 Poros dealing 200% Base Attack Damage each
- Wind Wall (Yasuo): Gains 60% Crit Chance and 15% reduced damage from non-adjacent enemies
Major Trait Changes

Beyond new power ups, TFT Patch 15.6 also introduced changes in traits, particularly Crystal Gambit and Mighty Mech. These nerfs may affect their addition in compositions as it significantly reduces their effects.
Crystal Gambit
Crystal Gambit has dominated late-game compositions, prompting significant adjustments:

Mighty Mech
To reduce the feast-or-famine nature of hitting Mech (7):

Monster Trainer Overhaul
The bag system has been simplified with all Monster Trainer champions now counting as 1 unit. While Lulu’s bag size increased from 18 to 22 copies shared across all Monsters.

- Jinx Bonus: 25% decaying AS → 20% decaying AS on takedown
Champion Balance Changes

Meanwhile, some 5-cost champions get an overhaul following the buffs from TFT patch 15.6. This transforms them as excellent primary carries instead of being a support unit. However, some champions like Akali received nerf to their damage output.

4-Cost Changes

- Ashe: Massive buffs including Base AD (65→68) and spell damage increases to compensate for Crystal Gambit nerfs
- Akali: Slight nerf to Dash Damage to bring her elite play in line
- Ryze: Spell damage increased from 770/1155/6000→850/1275/7000 AP
3-Cost Updates

- Ahri: Overkill Damage: 55%→80% (Luden’s Tempest removed as compensation)
- Rammus: Health increased 1000→1100, Mana cost reduced

Item, Artifact, and Augment Changes

There are adjustments as well to the current items and artifacts for TFT K.O Coliseum. With the sixth update, they buffed and nerfed some of the items and artifacts, affecting current meta.

Ionic Spark (Tank Item Buff):

- Magic Resist: 25→35
- Shock Damage: 160%→150%
Bloodthirster (Offensive Buff):

Artifact Changes

- Fishbones: Complete rework – AD (20%→50%), AS (30%→50%), no longer doubles range
- Blighting Jewel: AP increased 40%→50%, Mana Gain reduced 5→3
Augment Adjustments
The returning Mech Augment “I’ll Be the Head” is back:

New Features: Streamer Mode

Players are not only getting in-game adjustments but also new features as well. TFT patch 15.6 introduced three privacy levels for the new Streamer mode. Besides this, they also made changes on some quality-of-life features to improve gameplay.
Streamer Mode
Three privacy levels protect streamers from target griefing:

- Hide Other Names: Hides other players’ names on your screen only
- Hide My Name: Conceals your RiotID from other players
- Hide My Everything: Complete anonymity including account progression
Quality of Life

- Thief’s Gloves now rolls based on player level instead of game stage
- Augment filtering removed on 2-1 for greater variety
- Artifact Anvil Encounter disabled for more flexible early-game play
Conclusion
Recent TFT Patch 15.6 definitely shakes up the meta by introducing new power ups and major champions adjustments. Other 5-cost units finally get their spotlight through the buffs while dominant traits were nerfed to diversify compositions. Another patch is scheduled on October 22 which will bring in the Dragonlands: Uncharted Realms Set Revival.
