Having a hard time against Sniper comps, or missing your Sorcerer comp’s power? Riot Games released a B-Patch for 13.6 with some full reverts and changes. These mean to give some underrated Into the Arcane characters or comps more chances to shine. As we wait for 13.7, let’s look at what’s tweaked in Teamfight Tactics (TFT) Patch 13.6b.
Patch 13.6b Release

After the initial update was released on February 20, we’ll now see Patch 13.6 with updates in the middle of the patch. TFT Set 13: Into the Arcane brought new possibilities for team comps. Now, the meta shifts again with the nerf of overpowered comps and the buff of less appreciated ones. Patch 13.6b changes it a little bit more after going live on February 24.
A mid-patch change usually means some things in the initial updates are either overpowered or underpowered. With some tuning and small tweaks, the devs mean to fix things into a more balanced state while still impacting the overall meta.
Trait Adjustments

First, reverts to some trait changes in 13.6 will reset or lessen the effects that “went too far” in either direction. Enforcer and Sniper team comps in particular remain popular among players, so the adjustments to these traits are sure to be felt by many.
Enforcer
- Enforcer (8) Shield & Damage Amp = Buffed from 40% to 44%
Many considered the 13.6 nerf to this beloved trait to be too much, from 48% Damage Amp lowered down to 40%. To find a middle ground, Teamfight Tactics (TFT) Patch 13.6b increased it again by 4%.
Sniper
- Sniper Base Damage Amp = Nerfed from 10/40/80% to 5/35/75%
Even with the nerf in 13.6, Sniper comps still gave lots of players a hard time. So, devs slightly nerfed its Base Damage Amp buff to hopefully balance it out. Additionally, it indirectly nerfs some Enforcer comps as well.
Sorcerer
- Sorcerer AP = Buffed from 20/50/85 to 20/55/90
It’s a full revert for Sorcerer as the LeBlanc nerf seemed enough to make it balanced. Sorcerer comps have been pretty consistent, too, and maybe there’s no need for much adjustments for it.
Watcher
- Watcher (4) minimum Damage Reduction = Nerfed from 30% to 25%
Ever went 8th because of a Zeri Watcher comp? The Watcher (4) damage reduction buff in 13.6 was allegedly hell for many, but this change hopefully neutralizes its power.
Champion Adjustments

In addition to Teamfight Tactics (TFT) Patch 13.6b traits changes, devs also made some champion adjustments. They again are mostly reverts with a few buffs for two champs.
- Draven’s AS goes back from 0.75 to 0.7
- Akali’s Mana nerf is now 0/55, which previously went from 0/60 to 0/50.
- Vander’s Armor/MR nerfed from 50 to 45
- Corki’s AD receives a buff from 65 to 70
- Urgot now has a compensatory base AD buff from 50 to 55
Conclusion

Patch 13.6 has been called TFT’s worst patch yet for the imbalance and lack of comp variety it offered. With these changes in Teamfight Tactics (TFT) Patch 13.6b, it seems that we can expect a better experience. You can also worry less about your favorite comp being two-way contested, or not being able to play it at all.
Overall, the B-Patch opens up more viable options to play and makes way for more experimentation. What do you think about these mid-patch adjustments?
