Stellar Blade Gets Major Update for PC and PS5 Together

Stellar Blade officially releases on PC this June 11, launching alongside a major update for the PlayStation 5 version. The new Complete Edition arrives with additional features, outfits, technical enhancements, and a challenging boss fight. Both PS5 and PC players receive access to the same content on day one. PS5 users will receive a free patch, while PC players gain access to the full package at launch.

This dual release offers something for both newcomers and returning fans. Players who missed the original console launch can now join Eve’s mission with full visual and performance upgrades.

PC Graphics Options and Upscaling Technology

The PC version comes equipped with extensive visual features. Nvidia DLSS 4, frame generation, image enhancement via DAA, and Reflex latency reduction are supported. AMD FSR 3 is also included for those using Radeon hardware. These technologies improve stability and performance across various setups.

Unlocked frame rate support gives players full control over performance scaling. Whether targeting 60 FPS or much higher, the game adjusts based on your system’s capabilities. High-resolution background textures and support for 21:9 and 32:9 aspect ratios further enhance the visuals. The developers also confirmed compatibility across aspect ratios from 5:4 to 32:9.

Controller Support and Key Bindings on PC

Players can use the DualSense controller on PC, complete with adaptive triggers and haptic feedback. This adds a layer of immersion to combat and exploration. Beyond that, full key mapping options are available for gamepads, keyboards, and mice. Players can tailor every control input to match their preferences.

Whether battling enemies on magnetic rails or navigating the sewers, PC users experience the same responsive gameplay—now with total input freedom.

New Boss Challenge and 25 Nano Suits

The update includes a new boss encounter with a character named Man, a veteran warrior who serves as a guardian and weapons master. Defeating him unlocks the Royal Guard Suit as a reward. This fight adds fresh endgame content and pushes players to test their skills.

Additionally, the update introduces 25 new nano suits. These cosmetic upgrades provide more ways to customize Eve’s appearance while exploring a ruined world. All players receive the Crimson Wing outfit at launch as a thank-you bonus.

Localized Voiceovers and Facial Animation Support

The game now supports simplified Chinese and Japanese voiceovers across all regions. Facial animations have been added to match each voice track, increasing the impact of emotional scenes. These updates help more players connect with Eve’s story using familiar language and natural performances.

System Requirements Confirm PC Optimization

Shift Up shared system requirements four weeks ahead of launch, showing confidence in the port’s quality. The game includes four tiers of system specs, ranging from low-end machines to high-end 4K rigs.

  • Minimum (1080p, Low, 60 FPS):

    • CPU: i5-7600K / Ryzen 5 1600X

    • GPU: GTX 1060 / RX 580

    • RAM: 16 GB

    • Storage: 75 GB

  • Recommended (1440p, Medium, 60 FPS):

    • CPU: i5-8400 / Ryzen 5 3600X

    • GPU: RTX 2060 Super / RX 5700 XT

  • High (1440p, High, 60 FPS):

    • Same CPU options

    • GPU: RTX 2070 Super / RX 6700 XT

  • Very High (4K, Max Settings, 60 FPS):

    • CPU: i5-8400 / Ryzen 5 3600X

    • GPU: RTX 3080 / RX 7900 XT

These specs are notably reasonable. If actual performance aligns with expectations, Stellar Blade could become a top-performing PC port—especially compared to recent poorly optimized titles.

Mod Potential and Community Reach

Although modding isn’t officially mentioned, the PC version will inevitably draw attention from the community. Mods could gain traction across platforms like YouTube, TikTok, and Twitter, providing organic promotion. Custom content, quality-of-life improvements, and visual tweaks could extend the game’s reach long after launch.

This also supports the idea that compelling single-player titles can thrive across platforms, especially with aesthetic polish and technical depth. Stellar Blade represents a fresh IP that has already found success, and this PC version could help it grow further.
