The development of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Remake is becoming a somewhat strange story.
After the grand announcement, development appeared to be going rather sluggishly and rumors of a shutdown surfaced, especially after moving the game to another developer and more.
Embracer Group CEO Lars Wingefors, which includes Saber Interactive who is now said to be working on the game, declined to comment on the state of affairs and last weekend you could read that journalist Jeff Grubb has said that development has come to a complete halt.
From journalist Jason Schreier, however, we hear other noises. He states on ResetEre that he heard from two Saber Interactive employees that they are still working on the title there. In doing so, however, he does raise the question of whether the game will still be released and in what form?
