Stalker 2: Cost of Hope introduces new areas filled with locked doors, safes, and hidden stashes. Some combinations can be uncovered by following environmental clues, while others are tied directly to quests and must be solved before you can continue.
If you’d rather skip the puzzle-solving, we’ve collected the Stalker 2: Cost of Hope safe and door codes below. The list includes combinations found throughout the Iron Forest as well as codes required during missions in Lymansk, Lab X16, and the CNPP.

Keep in mind that several combinations are connected to story missions, so you may not be able to reach or use every locked location immediately.
Iron Forest Safe and Door Codes
Several of the Cost of Hope combinations can be found while exploring the Iron Forest. These aren’t all tied to mandatory objectives, making them particularly easy to overlook if you’re focusing primarily on the DLC’s story.
The Kurin Basement code is 9527, while the locked location at Builder’s Camp uses 1986.
As you explore farther toward the CNPP, you’ll encounter additional coded locations. The building south of the bridge leading toward the CNPP uses 5724.
For the building north of the Electric Maze, enter 1909. The building north of the Testing Workshop uses 5043.
There are also two more combinations worth remembering while clearing the region. The building near the SWYD West Checkpoint requires 3546, while the building south of the Chief’s Bunker uses 2754.
Distant Mirage Safe Code
Toward the end of the Distant Mirage mission, you’ll encounter another combination lock.
The code you need is:
8536
Enter the four digits in that order to unlock it and continue collecting everything available around the mission area.
Shadows of the Past Codes in Lymansk
The Shadows of the Past mission in Lymansk contains multiple coded locks, making it one of the easiest sections to get stuck on if you’ve missed a clue.
There are three combinations associated with this part of Cost of Hope:
1654
7812
2469
These are separate combinations, so keep all three handy while progressing through the mission rather than assuming one code opens everything.
Destructive Power of Mind Code in Lab X16
Players exploring Lab X16 during the Destructive Power of Mind mission will eventually need a longer code than most of the combinations elsewhere in the expansion.
The Lab X16 code is:
171008
Unlike the four-digit combinations used by many Cost of Hope locks, this one contains six digits, so make sure you enter the complete sequence.
Dangerous Way Safe Code
The Dangerous Way mission also features a combination tied specifically to the Mavka/Freedom route.
The code is:
5342
Because this section is route-dependent, you may not encounter the corresponding lock depending on the choices you’ve made during your playthrough.
Price of a Miracle CNPP Code
Once your journey takes you into the Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant (CNPP) during the Price of a Miracle mission, another locked location stands in your way.
The CNPP code is:
2110
Enter the combination to open the corresponding lock and continue through this portion of the mission.
Do You Need to Find the Clues Before Entering a Code?
In most cases, knowing the correct combination allows you to bypass the process of piecing together the associated clues. However, access to the locked area itself may still depend on your story progress, location, or chosen quest route.
This is particularly important for mission-specific combinations. Having a code such as 171008 or 2110 doesn’t necessarily mean you can immediately travel to the associated location and use it on a fresh save.
For exploration-related locks, the list is considerably more useful. Once you’ve reached the appropriate building, you can enter its combination directly and collect whatever is waiting inside.
With these codes saved, you can spend less time deciphering cryptic clues and more time exploring the new regions introduced in Stalker 2: Cost of Hope.
