Palworld has officially launched its version 0.6.0 patch, marking a major crossover event with Terraria. The update introduces a themed dungeon filled with Terraria-style enemies, materials, and craftable equipment. Players can obtain six new weapons and seven new armor pieces. The crossover event is headlined by the Moon Lord raid boss, bringing one of Terraria’s most iconic enemies into Palworld’s world.
Multiplayer fans will be pleased with the addition of dedicated PS5 servers, enhancing stability and enabling smoother cooperative play across consoles. This opens new ways for friends to challenge the Moon Lord together and share the spoils from dungeons and raids.
Fishing, Salvage System, and New Islands in Palworld
This patch introduces a fishing mechanic, allowing players to cast rods into water bodies with visible fish shadows. Fishing rewards include new pals and ingredients. The update also adds salvaging, a mechanic that lets players ride water pals to collect supplies from the sea floor, including rare ores.
Three new island types have been introduced:
-
Tropical Island
-
Iceberg Island
-
Shipwreck Island
Each contains unique pals and secrets to uncover. Additionally, the developers implemented treasure maps to help players locate hidden loot. Paired with the salvage system, exploration now feels deeper and more rewarding.
Missions, Trust System, Arena, and More Core Changes
Players can now accept tasks via a brand-new mission system, including special quests from Zoe. Completing her missions can unlock her as a companion. The pal trust mechanic ensures that even weaker pals can become more powerful as bonds grow. A quirky but wholesome new feature allows players to rest alongside pals, enhancing immersion after battles or farming sessions.
The new Arena mode provides a solo challenge where players face off against AI-controlled foes from the Papalgus Islands. Winners earn battle tickets and redeem them for exclusive rewards. Players can customize match rules, and multiplayer now includes a spectator feature for real-time battle viewing.Enemy bases now appear in the wild, occupied by hostile factions that build defensible structures. Successfully raiding them grants blueprints tied to their faction—an exciting evolution for world interaction.
Palworld Crafting Upgrades, Skills, and QoL Enhancements
The settlement system has been overhauled with bigger hubs and more NPCs. A wide variety of new buildings are now available:
-
Pal Surgery Table (change gender, override passives)

On the usability side, the UI now features bulk storage, improved power preset access, and color-coded health bars (green for neutral, red for hostile enemies).
