New & EVO Leak Targets Max 96 Center Backs (FC 25 SBC Guide)

Many Ultimate Team players have noticed what seems like a shift in pack weight, especially in the popular 88 and 89 exchanges. Previously, an FC 25 SBC would reliably return 2–4 special cards, but recent openings have delivered fewer standout pulls. For example, 89-rated exchanges sometimes return only one special item—or none at all—compared to earlier weeks when the average was higher. One example involved pulling only Zubimendi and Jonatan from an 89 exchange, which fell short of expectations.

Despite this dip, the overall return still allows enough value to justify continuing. A run of 40 one-of-five player picks generated plenty of small prime mixed packs, helping keep fodder flowing. Notably, the 85×10 packs remain highly valuable—one such pack recently yielded a 99-rated Cristiano Ronaldo and Pedri in the same draw.

Women’s Euro PTG Cards Get 99 Upgrades and Market Shake-Up

A major storyline in FC 25 involves upgraded Women’s Euro Path to Glory cards. England players such as Georgia Stanway, Lauren Hemp, Leah Williamson, and Niamh Charles received 99-rated versions following their real-life achievements. These upgrades caused prices to spike and created temporary market chaos, with Stanway reaching 950k coins before EA updated the price ranges.

Some cards received new icon chemistry despite using the old PTG card design, making them hard to locate using traditional filters. Players can use quantity and pricing filters to track these cards more effectively. The community welcomed EA’s decision to update price ranges quickly, a positive change from past delays.

Speculation is rising about a potential “Nations Winners” promo drop to commemorate these upgraded cards. While leaks are currently absent, the concept aligns with past promos that awarded in-game upgrades based on real-world tournament victories. If such a release occurs, it could include several already-boosted players and expand with more 98–99-rated versions for names like Lucy Bronze, Alex Greenwood, Chloe Kelly, and Niamh Charles.

FC 25 SBC Content and Player Picks Continue Rolling

The current FC 25 SBC rotation includes a refreshed 95+ campaign pick, which now features Team 3 of the FUTTIES promo. While shapeshifter cards still dilute the pack pool, top-tier rewards remain available for those grinding daily exchanges.

Additional SBCs are expected throughout the week, including one arriving as part of Cup Day 3. EA has quietly raised the quality and frequency of SBC drops this season, and daily completions remain one of the most reliable methods to build a top-tier squad.

New Max 96 CB EVO Leak Could Be Meta-Defining

A new evolution leak has surfaced for center-backs rated 96 or lower. The EVO path includes Intercept Plus, Bruiser Plus, Slide Tackle Plus, and Aerial Jockey. Stats upgrades include a boost to 98 defending, potentially pushing some defenders into elite status.

Examples of eligible players include Isak Touré (FUT Birthday), Madarch (97-rated), Jan Oblak, and even Team of the Year Virgil van Dijk. Archie Gray’s 96-rated card could also fit due to its CB secondary position, making it a strong candidate for a high-tier hybrid role.

The expected pace increase is a major factor. Some center-backs could reach mid-to-high 90s pace, making them viable in the evolving ultra-fast meta. Since most high-rated evolutions have required FC Points, this will likely be a paid EVO as well.

FUT Champs, Pack Chases, and 85×10 Highlights

While grinding packs may feel less rewarding due to potential pack weight reduction, standout moments still keep the mode alive. Cards like Cole Palmer’s Road to the Final version remain exciting to pull, and the new SBCs or EVOS provide more direction to casual and hardcore players alike.

The chase for Spurs-themed cards continues to drive player goals in Weekend League and Daily Cups. Some FUT Birthday and FUTTIES items feel underwhelming by now, but the occasional 99-rated pull or high-end evolution keeps the experience engaging.
