While exploring northeastern Fainweald in Mortal Shell 2, you can find a mysterious magic-sealed stone door in the Stones of Remembrance. The graveyard is northeast of the Blackridge Pass Beacon and is easy to recognize thanks to the yellow flowers covering the area.
Walking around the sealed building reveals what appears to be another entrance through a hole in the wall, but you can’t use it to get inside. Instead, opening the door requires finding and destroying three special gravestones hidden around the graveyard.
Doing so unlocks the Feeding Grounds dungeon, where you can obtain the Myriad Stone Tarstone.
How to Open the Stones of Remembrance Magic Seal Door
To remove the magic seal, you need to locate three magic seal gravestones throughout the yellow-flower graveyard.
Attack each gravestone with your weapon or sidearm to destroy it. Once you’ve broken all three, the magical barrier disappears automatically and the stone door opens.
You don’t need to activate the gravestones in a particular order.
The basic solution is:
- Find the three magic seal gravestones in Stones of Remembrance.
- Destroy each one with a weapon or sidearm.
- Return to the sealed door.
- Enter the newly opened Feeding Grounds dungeon.
The gravestones aren’t particularly difficult to destroy. Finding all three is the actual puzzle.
Magic Seal Gravestone #1 Location
Start by standing directly in front of the magic-sealed door.
Turn around and walk down the nearby stairs. As soon as you reach the bottom, look to your right.
The first magic seal gravestone is located immediately beside the bottom of the staircase.
Attack it until it breaks, then continue deeper into the graveyard for the remaining two.
Magic Seal Gravestone #2 Location
From the staircase near the first gravestone, look farther into the graveyard.
You should see a large stone structure with an arch. Underneath it is a chest containing Ossinite.
Walk toward the chest and face it. Then turn completely around.
Another stone arch should now be visible in the opposite direction. Head toward this structure to find the second magic seal gravestone directly underneath the arch.
Destroy it with your weapon or sidearm.
Magic Seal Gravestone #3 Location
The third gravestone is slightly easier to miss because it sits near the edge of the graveyard.
Stones of Remembrance has two exits obstructed by corruption. One leads toward Blackridge Cliffs, while the other heads in the direction of the Sanguine Caverns, where you can encounter the Lost Child.
Find the corrupted exit leading toward Sanguine Caverns and face it.
Now turn around and begin walking forward while staying close to the left wall. Follow the wall until it takes you into a small corner of the graveyard.
The third magic seal gravestone is located here.
Break it, and if you’ve already destroyed the other two, the seal blocking the dungeon entrance will disappear.
What Is Behind the Stones of Remembrance Door?
Destroying all three gravestones opens the previously sealed entrance to the Feeding Grounds.
The Feeding Grounds is a relatively small dungeon, so there isn’t a lengthy additional area to work through after solving the graveyard puzzle.
The most important reward inside is the Myriad Stone Tarstone.
If you’ve reached the Stones of Remembrance door and can’t figure out how to interact with its magical barrier, don’t waste time trying to enter through the hole around the side of the building. The solution is entirely outside: destroy the three marked gravestones scattered through the yellow-flower graveyard, and the Feeding Grounds entrance will open automatically.
