More Lego Fortnite Updates Coming Next Season? – Fortnite Leaks and News

Since the launch of the new season, Epic has focused on delivering timely content updates to its Fortnite Lego mode. Unlike the initial months, when Epic barely rolled out any Lego updates, this season has been different. The inclusion of new biomes and better exploration options has been at an all-time high. Firemonkey has uncovered more new leaks, including a new jungle biome. Keep reading to learn more about what is coming soon in the new Lego update mode.

The term “Juno” appears in the leaked screenshot related to the two biomes. While there is no confirmation for the 31.00 update is yet, players can  expect these biomes in the Season 4 update. The Battle Royale season ends in August, with the new season beginning the same month. Interestingly, the CLBO event for Lego Fortnite should still be ongoing at that time, ending in October, coinciding with the dark forest biome. The September update’s specifics are unknown, but it could include a windmill, hinting at a new biome.

Lego Fortnite Jungle Biome Update Incoming

Regarding the jungle area, developers are working on flora that releases stink gas or poison gas, potentially a plant that players interact with or that explodes upon approach. This gas will likely function similarly to heat or cold in other biomes, causing minor damage without a charm. In the dry valley biome, players take damage from heat, and in the frostlands biome, from cold. Poison gas will likely have a similar interaction.

Leaked Dates for Lego Updates

Key dates for Lego Fortnite updates include June 25th and July 23rd, referencing the CL update. The CLBO update is expected on July 23rd, with the v30.40 update on August 6th likely unrelated to Lego Fortnite. The Season 4 or Juno update is set to go live on August 16th unless changed by Epic. A significant update is anticipated on September 4th, a common pattern for major Lego Fortnite updates. This date aligns with the new Battle Royale season’s start at the end of August or early September.

September 4th seems plausible for introducing new biomes, potentially leading into a period of exciting updates, including the dark forest biome and a Christmas update in the following months. Although specific details about the new biomes remain unclear, unlike the previously leaked dark forest biome, recent updates have shown Epic’s tendency to release content with little prior information. This includes the expert mode and newly introduced animals.

Epic Games appears more reserved and strategic about leaks. While the dark forest biome could signal a substantial update, adding new biomes to pre-existing worlds poses challenges. Previous feedback highlighted issues with integrating new content into existing worlds. Adding new biomes may require innovative solutions, such as new islands or extending current maps through various means like caves or air travel.

Upcoming Themes and Features

Looking at real-life Lego sets, such as the jungle explorer set, suggests a potential ancient, old-school jungle style for the new biomes. This could include features like the monkey monument, new animals, buildings, vehicles, and villagers. Such updates could be substantial, preceding the dark forest biome by about a month.
