Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 is giving Xbox Series X|S players an exclusive pre-order bonus in the form of an OG Xbox-inspired Inner Circuit M4 Blueprint. The translucent green weapon celebrates Xbox’s 25th anniversary and is available to players who digitally pre-order Modern Warfare 4 on Xbox consoles ahead of its October 23, 2026 release.
PC players aren’t included in the promotion, even when purchasing Modern Warfare 4 through the Xbox app or accessing it through Game Pass. They can still receive the standard Inner Circuit Blueprint alongside the game’s other applicable pre-order rewards, but without the exclusive OG Green appearance.
Modern Warfare 4’s Xbox Pre-Order Bonus Explained
Infinity Ward’s Xbox-exclusive reward is a special version of the Inner Circuit M4 Blueprint designed around the original Xbox’s signature green aesthetic.
The weapon uses a translucent green exterior that exposes its internal components, with an Xbox logo displayed on the side.
The OG Green Inner Circuit M4 comes equipped with five attachments:
- 11.5″ Shortline Barrel
- FTAC Dominion Mizzle
- FSS Fireline Grip
- SZ Prima-4 Dot Optic
- ZLR ASP50 Stock
The exclusive treatment is cosmetic, with the standard Inner Circuit Blueprint offering the same attachments and performance.
How to Get the OG Green Inner Circuit M4
To qualify for the exclusive Blueprint, players need to digitally pre-order Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 on Xbox Series X or Xbox Series S.
The promotion is specifically tied to the console versions.
Call of Duty has clarified that buying or accessing the game through the Xbox ecosystem on PC doesn’t qualify players for the OG Green version.
PC players instead receive the mil-spec version of the Inner Circuit M4, which maintains the same attachment setup and gameplay performance without the translucent green Xbox design.
That distinction makes the OG Green Blueprint a console-specific cosmetic rather than a gameplay advantage for Xbox players.
The Blueprint Celebrates 25 Years of Xbox
The Inner Circuit design follows the same visual direction as Microsoft’s wider 25th anniversary hardware lineup.
Xbox has already introduced a special-edition Xbox Series X and matching controller inspired by the brand’s original green aesthetic. Like the Modern Warfare 4 Blueprint, the hardware uses a translucent design that exposes internal components.
Microsoft has also worked with companies including Razer, 8BitDo, PowerA, and GameSir on additional anniversary accessories, ranging from gaming peripherals to other Xbox-themed products.
Modern Warfare 4’s M4 Blueprint extends that anniversary design into one of Xbox’s biggest releases of the year.
Modern Warfare 4 Is Still Changing After Its Beta
The exclusive reward arrives shortly after Modern Warfare 4 completed its Early Access and Open Beta periods.
Infinity Ward used the beta to gather feedback and pushed multiple updates while testing was still underway. Those changes included additional maps and content alongside adjustments to areas such as weapon balance and audio.
The testing period gave players an early opportunity to see how the latest Modern Warfare plays before its full release on October 23.
Infinity Ward is continuing to make adjustments as launch approaches, while Activision is also rolling out several promotional campaigns offering additional in-game rewards.
Monster Energy Is Offering More Modern Warfare 4 Rewards
Players who don’t want to pre-order the Xbox version still have other opportunities to collect Modern Warfare 4 items before launch.
Call of Duty has renewed its partnership with Monster Energy, with eligible promotional cans providing codes that can be redeemed for various rewards.
The promotion includes items such as weapon blueprints, Operator skins, and Double XP Tokens.
Unlike the OG Green Inner Circuit M4, these rewards aren’t specifically tied to digitally pre-ordering the Xbox Series X|S version.
Xbox Is Also Running a Fanta Promotion
Microsoft is separately partnering with Fanta on another gaming promotion.
Its available rewards span several games, including Call of Duty: Warzone and Black Ops 7, alongside Microsoft titles such as Diablo 4, Forza Horizon 6, Halo: Campaign Evolved, and World of Warcraft.
However, the promotion places tighter restrictions on how many rewards can be claimed, with weekly limits affecting the available in-game items and even stricter availability for some World of Warcraft rewards.
For Modern Warfare 4 players specifically interested in the Xbox anniversary cosmetic, the requirement is much simpler: digitally pre-order the game on Xbox Series X|S to receive the exclusive translucent OG Green version of the Inner Circuit M4 Blueprint when Modern Warfare 4 launches on October 23.
