After several major beta tests, Mecha BREAK officially launches on July 2 for Xbox Series X|S and PC. Over 300,000 players joined the previous tests, and developer Amazing Seasun Games now readies the game for its full debut. The title blends fast-paced third-person action with mech-based competitive and co-op gameplay.
The story sets up a world shaped by a dangerous resource called Korite. Players join a mysterious unit named Shadow and train through a brief tutorial before entering PvP and PvEvP missions. If you completed the tutorial during the beta, you can skip it at launch.
Mecha BREAK : Combat, Striker Roles, and Mod System
Mecha BREAK features 12 Strikers at launch, divided into five categories: Attackers, Defenders, Supporters, Brawlers, and Snipers. Each one comes with distinct loadouts and movement styles. For instance, Falcon fires rapid missiles and can enter flight mode, while Skyraider unleashes energy bursts and micro missiles.
Battles unfold across land and air, with players managing armor and energy during movement and combat. Damage types—ballistic, plasma, missile, and melee—interact with specific resistances, adding depth to fights. While not as fluid as some mech titles, the action feels responsive and intense.
Mods earned through gameplay enhance stats like boost speed, health recovery, and ground movement. At launch, mods only apply to Mashmak mode, keeping PvP balanced. Players can combine mods of the same rarity to build stronger ones using the mod assembly system.
Game Modes: Operation Verge, Ace Arena, and Mashmak
Multiplayer includes two competitive modes: Operation Verge (6v6) and Ace Arena (3v3).

In Operation Verge, teams push separate payloads across mirrored maps while defending and disrupting the opponent.

Crob Sinkhole, a second map type, revolves around capturing and holding data points.
Ace Arena offers tighter 3v3 matches where teams race to reach eight eliminations. This mode unlocks right away at launch, unlike during beta phases.
The third core mode is Mashmak, which offers a PvEvP loop with both solo and squad options. Players drop into a zone, fight AI enemies and bosses, collect loot, and attempt to extract. If eliminated before extraction, all loot is lost. This mode includes gliders, modular weapons, and the chance to bring equipment into each run—though resources are limited and permanent loss is a real risk.
Mecha BREAK Customization, Crossplay, and PC Details
Before jumping into matches, players design their own pilots. Templates represent different units and factions, but each can be deeply customized. Options include face shape, hairstyle, voice, outfit, and more. You can also update your look anytime for free after creation.
The game includes a Hangar hub where players interact with characters and explore. Though not yet a shared social space, signs suggest future plans for expansions. Areas like a gym and gun range appear but remain inaccessible for now.
Mecha BREAK supports crossplay between Xbox and PC. However, there’s no cross-progression, and the PS5 version still has no release date. Many believe Xbox has secured timed exclusivity, explaining the game’s feature at the Xbox Games Showcase.
On PC, players need 60 GB of storage. The minimum setup includes an Intel i5-6500 or Ryzen 3 1300X, 8 GB RAM, and a GTX 1650 or RX 570. For better performance, the game recommends an RTX 3060, 16 GB RAM, and an SSD.
Accessibility tools allow players to adjust the UI, toggle auto-lock for snipers, and display squadmate indicators. These features help keep track of the action in fast-paced matches.
