Insomniac Games just released Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, and in the meantime, the developer has been working on Marvel’s Wolverine for a while. That game has not officially been given a release date or release window, but the general assumption is that the game will come out sometime in late 2024.
However, the game may not come out until later. This reports leaker Daniel Richtman, who states that the game will not come out next year, but not until 2025. In doing so, he also states that the game has a more dark and violent tone than this developer’s previous games.
Furthermore, the game would be set in Madripoor, a city in southeast Asia, located within the Marvel universe. This city has long been known as a home to pirates built on the back of a dragon.
Whether it is true remains to be seen, but if Marvel’s Wolverine does not come out in 2024, it is very sparse in terms of first-party releases next year for now. The only confirmed game is The Last of Us: Part II Remastered.
